Anytime mate! I'd love to see them put Oni in. He's such a fun character to play that it would really perk the game up for me. Like I said, I can't remember which target combo is which by number, but I feel like tr Jab-Strong one would be more versatile though the Strong-Fierce (M.k-H.k I still use the names of the arcade buttons) WOULD do more damage. Although he does pretty good damage in general so either way, he'd pile up damage pretty quick. And yes, Standing M.k. It's a little like Sagat's standing K but it doesn't hit as high. As far as Gohadoukens go, maybe the tap button one could be Light and the held one could be the Hard one. You know what? Let's say Ultra 2. Aerial Ultra 1 isn't that good anyway and U2 has more varied ways to get into it anyhow. And given that we're dealing with a more paired down move set, more options means more opportunity to land it!
Oni s.P,P: Target Combo 2 (special cancellable) (buff so that it doesn't whiff on crouching) f+P: f+HP (poke, negates fireballs) b+P: Zugai Hasatsu (overhead) db+P: cr.LP (special cancellable, rapidfire) df+P: cr.HP (special cancellable, aa) j.P: j.HP s.K: s.MK (special cancellable) f.K: f+MK (step kick) db+K: cr.MK (special cancellable) df+K: cr.HK (knocks down) j.K: j.MK (crossoes over) Gohadouken (Hard): qcf+p/sp/qcf+sp (Can be charged) Gorai Hadouken (Hard): hcb+p/d+sp/hcb+sp Tatsumaki Zankukyaku (Hard): qcb+k/b+sp/qcb+sp Goshoryuken (Hard): dp+p/f+sp/dp+sp Rakan Dantojin (Light): hcf+k/df+sp/hcf+sp Sekisei Jiraiken (Hard): dp+k/db+sp/reverse dp+sp Zanku Hadosho (Air, Light): uf+sp Zanku Hadosho (Air, Medium): u+sp Zanku Hadosho (Air, Hard): ub+sp Tatsumaki Zankukyaku (Air, Hard): qcb+k/b+sp/qcb+sp Forward Throw Super Raging Demon: P, P, f, K, P (can be done in air) Ultra Tenchi Sokaigen (U2): hcfx2+SP That's where I'm at now. It seems that with his Gohadouken, only the speed changes. Recovery is identical for all versions. I still favour TC2 over TC1. The start up is 1f later and you can still hit confirm into it. But it would need a buff because the 2nd hit whiffs on crouching characters. The damage difference is 50 damage and 10 stun. If we were to go for TC1, I think, his db+P would be his cr.MP so he has a standing jab. I don't think the fireball fakeout animation is relevant though Original character changes: -Air Burn Kick to whiff against some crouching chars and chars doing some low moves? -2nd hit of Akuma's s.HK to whiff against smaller hitbox characters when crouching (on block)?
Yeah after doing some testing, I agree with you on Tc2. It's more versatile than I thought, and though you can't combo into lK Slash, you can combo into fireball which is about as good for FADCs. I'd LOVE to see Viper's burn kick whiff on some crouching/low attacking enemies.
For Juri's fireballs, I'm happy with 3 inputs for 3 normal fireballs but for EX? Just make it easy and have only 1 EX version?
mid and low fuhajin, and low ex fuhajin. No need for high and if i have to go with an ex fuhajin i would go with low.
Yeah. I actually find no use with high fuhajin since I believe it won't be an effective anti-air and plus her normals do fine as AA.
In AppStore the most part of Capcom games says that they are going to update for new devices! Retina? iPhone 5? It sounds good! Maybe Capcom can resurrect with this move !
No, it's just to ensure that those games will work on those devices. iOS 7 uses around 100 MB more than iOS 6, that's why most apps are crashing like crazy. And then they need to test those apps using the new devices so they are sure that they will work on these devices. Don't expect retina, iCloud, iPhone 5 screen support or things like that.
They only posted that messege on their main tittles (phoenix wright, monster hunter, ghost trick and final fight) and most famous games (all street fighter games including capcom arcade cabinet and all ghost n goblins games). Apparently SFxT, MvC, DMC, RE, DR and Megaman doesnt fall in the category of main title or famous title. (Might not have enough download to consider an update)
Monster Hunter got waaay less downloads than MvC and the RE games (which doesn't surprise me, since MvC and RE are the real deal, while the Monster Hunter game has only the monsters and equipment in common with the console games). There's just no way to understand how Capcom works. Volt is the only fighting game left with an alive community in the whole App Store, yet they don't want to support it with updates, something that's freaking essential for mobile games, and even more for fighting games where balance is the most important thing. And then they say that they are in red numbers and start releasing FTP crap for mobile that's only going to sell in Japan... They should learn from companies like Square Enix and EA. They really take mobile games seriously, and always try to deliver a console-like experience for mobile devices.
The ones that have less downloads might fall in the main title category. Games like MvC2 and SFxT have many characters that do not belong to Capcom and they probably have less revenue as they have to split a percentage with the owners of those characters. Im Surprised that titles like DMC, RE, DR and Megaman are not getting updates.
How Capcom works? Only for money they don't mind if there is a great community around a certain game! And it's in red, their big franchise like resident evil and devil may cry doesn't sell like in the past! Now they try with a new version of strider that was a great 1990 game!
DMC wasn't that good (DMC4 is a pretty shit game anyway IMO) and I can't imagine RE4 had Enough downloads to make it worth it which is a shame because it was pretty good.
I was talking about console version of these games! Anyway I've read that Capcom is concentrating on mobile and dlc so there is a hope to see new apps in the future! Next set of characters?
I'm also reading about Capcom doing pretty badly financially. I think what we are doing is perfectly in line with them trying to extract additional income from places such as Mobile Gaming. We can move onto the next set of chars, but I haven't quite finished Juri. I've been busy over the past week so I haven't had time to do a proper movelist type up for her
