Excellent, I was actually browsing the team page in Japan and thought to myself, HEY! Apprunner made it Congrats! The road to 4k is tough. I managed to get to 3.3k and ran into slrc... of course haha. Im too stubborn to run from a good fight, luckily he left before I went below 3k... and he even blamed it on low batter, even though I know he didnt want to take all my BP I hope to get to 4k in a weeks time. I can make it.. I just need to get matched with some higher BP guys, these pro 2kers are ruining my patience. They are so good and I take such a hit losing to them...and when I do run into a high BP VERY skilled player, I usually go 6or7/10 so I barely get any gain out of it anyway!
I think Shane has been misunderstood here. Honestly, several DD players come as being cocky and over confident (I will not mention names). Tenonez, Squal, Appruner, Fffan, Wedia.....could make a video of themselves with thier respective chars but they dont like to show off. They have class. That's what shane meant. The Video is great, it will generate awareness for newcomers and teach aspiring Viper players a few combos
Where is your concrete evidence. Lets see it before you make comments like "cocky and over confident" This is crazy, what does this video have to do with anything? He made a video of him pwning some fools so what? He isnt saying, "hey look who I beat!" he is showing off his skill. ANYONE WHO UPLAODS REPLAYS TO BATTLE NET IS GUILTY OF THIS! I'm not even going to check your replays Drogbathe, but I have a feeling you uploaded some. So you didnt put it on youtube, its still on the internet and readily accessible. lol, all those guys you named, they have replays up, doesn't make them "not classy" Again, I want to see your concrete evidence of cocky and overconfident... don't make slanderous(real word??) remarks unless your willing to back it up. *edit* Shane hasnt been misunderstood, he took a harmless video and used it to attack an entire group of people... ignorance I think is how Epikninja described it... sounds about right.
Lets hear Shanes perspective. This drama is crazy, we are all here to play a game and have fun and be a good community to eachother. Shane, what is the underlying issue here? What exactly upset you about that video? I would really like to hear your thoughts, not to attack you but just discuss and make this right. The video meant no offence(clearly, as it does not state anyones names) Whats the big deal about it? Why do you and others apparently feel it is not "classy"?
If I'm amongst this list of people who are on the brash side, I just want to say that I personally like to create a bit of competition sometimes with people so it's not always a nice & friendly encounter; there's a bit of adrenaline required lol. And don't hold back, let me know if anything I do seems annoying, I've come to your side of the forest. I think these other top players can't be bothered to go through the hassle of making a video etc they just want to play when they have time. I don't think it is rude to show off your best moments in a game either, in case you haven't noticed there are highlights to any sporting & gaming events. We have a culture where showing off is a norm: Examples: "Anoj top ten series" for CODMW 3, "The magic of X player" for SSF4AE, "Evo Moments" for Evolution tournament and so on. If you respond with saltiness and can't take the heat then you gotta get out the kitchen.
haha xion, when he said that you came to mind. But two things about that... 1. Xion is ��������ing pro -- not over confident, he is THAT good 2. Xion does it in a friendly way, he talks about beating someones ass, but in a joking non-hostile way. Xion just likes to play around. This is a fighting game, if you come in with confidence, you have an advtange over the other guy. A lot of the higher tier battles are psychological, there is a point where both people have met their skill max, but who is going to out play who? Who is going to get in the other guys head more? I think Xion does this greatly (and in a friendly way too, he doesnt come off as I AM THE MASTER RULER OF YOUR UNIVERSE, �������� ALL OF YOU!) Wow, just got my ass kicked by a Cody player in the Japanese server. I think the best Cody I have seen in a long time. To bad I didn't save the replay. I also noticed that low tier chars are used in ranked whereas in the US server, it's the higher tier chars. I am loving those variety In other news, let's stop fighting over a video. It's just a game

Looking back into old posts, I don't see what the fuss is about the video of YYOJJO. I definitely enjoyed it even though I dont even touch Viper. Great video, great combos, not so great music haha . jkjk. Relax people.

GGs Infero~ Sorry gotta left to clear up some stuff~ Oh yea~ Hazure3 is my idol, favorite Japanese Player~ But our Cody are two different type thou~ as he is master of Zonk Knuckle and use solely only Zonk Kunckle attack. While I mixed it in my normal combo style which I felt it suit me more~ Sorry for e switch, cause the speed just now is totally not suitable to play Makoto And I trying out Chun Li too~ quite a fun character to play with but still not sure of her match up thou. The Dhalsim match is epic~ lol
