My breif Japanese server impressions so far:
Like Apprunner said, very smooth connection
Less to none RQ. I played 5 matches and only one Ryu player quit on me.
I have noticed that the majority of players are Fei and Cammy, that is including friendlies. Cammy players are the lamest compared to Apprunner, they just sit there and waiting for me to do a mistake. Even if they find an opening, their combo is just weak (all the cammy players I played were above 2800's). I haven't met Sagat or Guile players yet. My Japanese server GC is wediafom jr.

    The low tier.
    Finix,

Ggs, but that lag was pretty bad. I laughed pretty hard when we focus attacked each other at the exact same time.

Yeah. They definitely play Cammy differently. I haven't lost a Cammy mirror yet but I've only played 4 Cammy's so far. A lot of Ryus and Rogs.

They have a lot of good Ryus. Good Sagats too. One of the Sagats beat me 3 times in a row. I had no answer.

    The low tier.
For me, the most challenging thing about getting good with a new character - learning how to consistently beat bad players. Anyone agree?

Freaking hell... I almost Double Perfected a Zangief... but then he spammed his FBA, and after a few things happened, he won. He had something like 1300 BP.

Ex rocks does connect to it in corner. Will test mid screen.

Edit: doesn't connect midscreen. But ex rocks, jaw breaker, cr mp, ruffian connects

Also, one of my replays with neco_arc is already at 25 downloads!

Question: So, Chun-Li's HK Hyakuretsakyu (the one she has in here) has a 3 frame advantage on hit. Her Cr. LK has a 3 frame startup. Is it possible to continue the combo?

Please save the replays next time because no sagat player beats you for three rounds straight, only Squall and Berserk might :D

Yea. Coming up with a game plan against each of the "cheese" strategies for each characters (to borrow the Starcraft term).

Sagat: jump kick - standing kick (repeat); high/low tiger shot (repeat); knee SRK mix up (repeat)
Viper: low kick - medium TK (repeat); burn kick (repeat)
    Cammy: Arrow - Spike (repeat)
Ken: air tatsu - SRK (repeat)
    Ryu: hadou - srk/st.K (repeat)
    Guile: SB/low kick/Flashkick wall
    Honda: Sumo Smash (repeat)
    Bison: headstomp/reverse (repeat); j K - st K st K (repeat); j K - cr K x 3 - scissors (repeat)
    Vega: Flying Flying Flying (repeat)
    Blanka: j K - cr K x 3 - Roll (repeat)
Akuma: jump back air hadou (repeat); dive kick - st K - sweep - teleport (repeat)
    Zangief: FBA (repeat)

Any other cheese strategies that ppl can add? It's actually an interesting list of tactics that every player/character needs to deal with.

    Deejay: air slasher, sonar
    Abel: mk xx dash grab
    Fei: chicken wing
    Guile: sweep, flash kick

This seems like a good list of common frame traps.

I'd like to point out neco_arc doesn't seem to use cammy's spiral arrow, spike

    The low tier.
The affirmation that I tell myself when I fight Blanka - "Don't press buttons. Just wait. He's eventually going to do something really stupid."

Strange. I used to be able to sweep after her hundred legs, but not anymore.

After the overhead flip kick, you can either sweep or cr.LK.
Frame Data says Sweep has 7 frame start-up, while cr LK only had 3 frames.
Overhead flip Kick has 4~5 frame advantage on hit.
Makes me think the Sweep start-up frame data is wrong, or there's something special about it.

    Thoughts?

I haven't been able to get anything to following hundred legs. =/

Yun needs to be buffed. Seriously. He has to play lame in most of the matches, because everyone is a freaking turtle. I freaking hate this. I need to take a break.

Although, I will admit, his Palm is overpowered against Chun-Li.

    The low tier.
give yun all his dive kicks imo - down + k/p/sp

this way he can bait out turtles by really changing is jump trajectory
