If it's just tiger knee and low kicks, then If both hits from tiger knee are blocked, then you are safe to do whatever you want. If only one hit from the tiger knee connects, not much you can do except teleport away. You can interrupt it with a EX psycho crusher too. It gets tricky when they start adding the uppercut in between. You should always try to keep a distance from him so you don't get trapped in his SP spamming mixup. Hopefully, they do some fireballs at long distance and you can do some headstomps to build up the meter or go for a cross up.
Cool - I just wondered as, when I play on 'all' or 'higher skill' settings, I haven't had anyone in that range since the update...
funny that with these touch controls one can deal a lot of damage just by pressing the avatar button.
It's so tough using Makoto... does anyone have any tips? I'm not sure if it's easier against non-fireball opponents since I've just faced against Ryu and Akuma. Her combos require so much timing that it's very hard connecting them with the lag. Tried the command grab -> super -> ultra, but only succeeded 1/3 times.
Is there any trick on how to land Akuma's double kick? I know the right moment to hit shuryoken (usually during the last frame of one's move) due to dojo mode in the old sf4, but still can't find the timing to land most of Akuma's moves.
I managed to do that Grab -> Super -> Ultra against CPU C. Viper. I remember tapping on Super repeatedly followed by Ultra, also repeatedly for it to work.
i'd say use the super meter for EX moves thou .... grab -> ultra is the best if not karakusa> stand hard punch> hayate>cancel to super>ultra
Found the funnest match up: Makoto vs Makoto. We never care about blocking and it's straight up chaos dashing in and out and trying to go for command grabs.
Played a bunch of Akumas today, and avoided Zangief, so I've made up for yesterday's BP losses. Half of my fights today ended in rage quits, though - and two of them were from the same player, who's card isn't showing either of the losses. Could there maybe be people who've skipped the update out there? Is anyone else finding, though, that while the intentional disconnects have been greatly reduced the accidental ones have increased dramatically? I'm having real trouble actually connecting to games at the moment...
I am having a ton of problems with my connection and have been bumped out of multiple games today. I haven't really noticed any BP loss associated with these connection problems though. In fact, I'd be very curious to hear if anyone can confirm losing BP (or receiving a loss) due to a disconnect, intentional or otherwise). After being disconnected in-game, I sometimes can't get back on to online matchups. Half the time it's fixed by manually closing the game on the home screen and half the time I have to turn my iPhone off and then back on again.
Well actually i just started playing like 5 minutes ago, played 2 mathces with a ken, and at the end of the game after he beat me almost perfect it got disconnected and he lost like 300 BP ..... it was just weird
That happened to me before, I was 1000BP fighting against an akuma with 500BP, I was beating him and a friend called me (FaceTime, there's no way to avoid FaceTime). I lost about 200 BP.
Hahahaha i was that akuma!! What is the world small. How do you unlock the third icon of a person i have the one of zangief but i dont know how i got it.
I was using Guile and was "casting" the ultra on you with 100% chance to hit (you were jumping). Are you sure you were that akuma?
