As long as you're mostly always defensive crouching with guile, you can still move forward safely -- either with back+K or charge db, focus, forward, P (lets you sonic boom after moving forward). Or even just charge db, move forward a little bit, then P (it allows for a small gap). Jumping in against SRKers are always dangerous. Get them into a corner and they won't be able to jump at you without eating a Flash Kick.

Yea, Cosmic Heel does more damage, but then the Jump K needs to hit very late, almost meaty, because of the Cosmic Heel start-up. cr.MK comes out much quicker, easier to combo. Both are good options, but .. getting that super .. too hard >_<
I've tried. Not much to work with. His main combos are: Chicken Wing - St. P/St. K/Sweep/Cr. LP/Cr. LK(?)/Shienkukyaku Cr. LK x3 - Cr. LP - Rekkas He has a good tick throw game, though. Cr. LP - Walk a tiny bit - Flip Grab Cr. LK x2 - Throw Overhead - Throw/Flip Grab Also, unless you're sure that you'll land all three hits of the Rekkukyaku in Shienkyaku - FADC - Rekkukyaku, don't do it. Because if you end up doing two hits, you could have gotten that damage from just letting the Shienkukyaku go.
Yea, I don't see a lot of combo opportunities with Fei. With only 3 special moves, and so few of them Special-Cancellable, you're focusing more on on resets and mind games. The EX properties don't change the moves very much either. Only juggle/launcher is the flame kick. Rekkas can't be FADC, otherwise that would have made for interesting options. Voloster's the man to chat up for Fei combos.
I find for Fei that his combos are not the thing that makes him special. Its the pokes and hit confirmation from pokes to specials that make him dangerous. Any poke will lead into Rekkas so they poke poke poke and if one lands he goes into rekka mode That also makes him susceptible to Fireball spammers as he needs to get close. He may take damage to get close and Akumas may just teleport away anyway.
Well, I'm playing full time now, but I usually have stuff I have to do during the day for that, but just not 7-8 hours a day like I did when I had the job. And yes, they do have a lot of great games there (though Guilty Gear was really expensive and ate my money the last time, but it's on a really awesome cabinet!)
