A few of us have infiltrated the Japanese server... If you really want to imporve your grame... go to Jap Server... you need the actual japanese app to play with them. They are incredibly good.... 2kBP there means they are GOOD, timing is amazing... never drop combos... they have some real talent over there, totally different experience from the US app....

So i'll start by saying the hardest step: Getting a form of payment with Japanese currency...(gift card, or if you have alternate japanese payment that itunes or appstore will accept) On your iDevice, if you go to settings --> store --> apple --> log out Then you can log in, and create a new one. I can't find it at this exact second, but I did a google search along the lines of, "register japanes apple ID without credit card" Once you get that all set up, your store will automatically change to japnaese store, just search "capcom" and you will see volt, download... as I said, the payment is the trickiest part to the entire method..

Cammys have been annoying as #### too.... so many of them and they all are patient like you I hate patient cammys, nothing worse... and just like you when it comes down to the end of the round and its a turtle fest, EX hooligan --> ultra... but I finally learned a defence to it.... I think these Japanese are purposly picking cammy so that I will be ready the next time we play
Mine came with a square gate, but I prefer square. That way, I have all four corners solidified, whereas with an octagon gate, if my hand isn't resting on the stick just right, my directions may be all thrown off. I've played both, but I definitely prefer the square gate for the corners. From what my brother told me, Sanwa parts aren't super expensive, and he was able to mod his pretty easily. So if the price is right on the parts, you can cheap out on the casing and all that. But the difference between a decent stick and a great stick is massive. You'll thank yourself in the end. We actually have a really great arcade here in Nashville called Game Galaxy. I've only been a few times, but they have all kinds of old fighting games (and other games too!) There are a few arcades around here actually. I really ought to gather my quarters and go more often, though when I do, it seems like I'm one of the only ones in there. I never end up getting to play against anyone. Although the first time I went to GAme Galaxy, the owner Jason Wilson (who is a top ST/MK2 player) and I played. I don't think I won a single match, that dude was so good! Check it out: www.gamegalaxyarcade.com There is an app called Gamepad Elite that will turn your iPhone/iPod into a controller. It works via Bluetooth/wifi. I could never get it to work myself, but it might be worth checking out for you, though I imagine you'd have to do some jailbreak beeswax to get it to work with SF4V.

You know whats funny...when BN was first set up, Finix said you could watch Japaense replays if you changed the language and so I did... I studied a crapload of Japanese Cammy's and incorporated their style into my game. I made the jump from a high 2k BP Cammy to a high 3k BP Cammy in a span of a couple weeks Did they play very similarly to me? I'm curious from your perspective
Very similar... I even had one who had uppercut reflect on my crusher down exactly like you. I HATE when I get uppercut out of my EX crusher by cammy, annoys the #### out of me lol I played one this morning, almost made me want to rage quit man... he was just like you.. very frustrating. Although, my gief skills have GREATLY improved on the cammy matchup, so if I can't beat a cammy twice with Bison, I start using Gief lol I have played at least 3 who are very similar to your playing style, apprunner. even the scrubby ones play like you, they just don't have the experience in the match up yet I can tell... they are very patient, methodical.. planned out... reactive... shit
Hehe. I'm glad my homework paid off and I play like the higher level Cammys there. To be truthful, I think I play the way all Cammy's should be played especially at the higher levels. We all do things a little differently but I found this patient Cammy style through both study and trial and error. Snooper was very similar to me too and he was a great Cammy. I will play there for sure and then come here to dominate (not really but hopeful). I wonder if the top Japanese guy can match TenOneZ? TenOneZ is the best I've ever played.
Damn that is a nice gamelist...nice variety of fighters and..Tournaments?? Youve only been there a few times? You should go just to size up the competition in your city then join up one of those tournaments later, kick some ass and take the prize.
Hahaha, yeah, I really need to start getting out and going to some of the stuff they have there. I just never think to do it. It's a hub of FGC activity in my own backyard and I never go. I'm a bad person lol! I have more time now too that I don't have my day job anymore. I think one of the things holding me back is that I don't have a console to practice on, but I guess that's a bad excuse. :-/
