    hahahaha never heard of that.

    It's ok -- I get grouped in with the "used car salesman" I'm an insurance broker... represent over 30 carriers... I hate when I have to explain to people: "I DO NOT MAKE THE RATES, I HELP YOU FIND THE BEST ONE"

    hahaha bean counter, i'll be sure to call my friend that :D

    I use the same strategy. Not always, but most of time :(

    I have a root strategy, and I alter once I get a feel for my opponent. I still haven't perfected turtle Yun, though. :|

    Yeah, same general strategy, but I have a few different ones, depending on who I am fighting, and how they play

    If you are offensive type of character, you will need a completely different strategy for each character. I could see Guile having a root strategy and not having to change too much because his defense is very solid. Cammy will most likely be the aggressor so will need to understand how to attack the defenses of each character. If anyone has played me with multiple characters, they know I completely change how I play depending on the character. I poke like crazy at someone like Fei who likes to charge in and i feint quite a bit against Shotos to bait. :)

    Yeah, apprunner, your the only matchup I have where I am on defence 99% of time... I am not used to defencive playing because I usually am the agressor.

    I cant be too offensive against cammys because all her moves beat out bison lol so I have to defence and punish, which takes patience.. which I don't have hahaha
    Only against you apprunner.... I HAVE to be patient or I will eat something!

    Not enough people rush down. Most people just zone with fireball or overuse headstomp. I rarely get rushed down and it shows. Everyone (including me) is soft to rushdown; people don't know how to block.

    Every now and then I come across people who can block and it's a nightmare for me

    I think I played you quite a few times and I was the aggressor. The only guile where i couldn't be the aggressor is SLRC. He's an impregnable fortress far as i'm concerned. Cannot get anything past his awesome defense :(

    Funny thing is most Bisons are aggressive and they attack...in the first round. They become defensive when they eat 5 or 6 uppercuts in a row :D I have more trouble with you and Fffan because you guys adjust quicker and become defensive. I think against some characters, you just can't be offensive or you'll lose. I have the same issue with Ivwshane's Blanka...when he goes into turtle mode, I fear him greatly. He has an answer for every move I do :D

    I'm an idiot. Playing around in friendlies against a Blanka, he starts up his ultra when there's no way that it would hit me. He holds it, and I chicken wing in early. And I end up in front of him, and he lets go.

    Can someone explain what 'Meaty' stands for? I have heard Felix and Slrc referring to it a few pages back, but I have no idea.

    Basically hitting your opponent late in the active frames. For example, Kobokushi - Tetsuzanko doesn't work if you hit them at the start. That's where you need it to be meaty.

    @Apprunner
    Against you I'm forced to be defensive. I can't jump in/neutral jump much vs you.

    @Drogba(th)
    Meaty is when a moves connects with the active frames but in the later part of a move. So think of any normal connecting as soon as it comes into contact with the enemy. Now imagine the enemy getting up or landing into the later active frames of the normal. This allows for some interesting combo possibilities. Generally works for attacks with longer animation or with larger hit boxes

    I feel your pain HEIF I'm in insurance too infact I probably handle Apprunners dental insurance given that he's from California and that's our largest market.:D

    Who would have thought that we are boring Finance/Insurance Agents during the day and martial arts street fighting masters by night.

    Oh and apparently bean counter is not a east coast phrase cause I honestly pictured App sitting on a assembly line counting beans as they pass by. hahahahaha

    That's the bad side of DLC. Companies seem to be starting to use it as a way to extort money out of people for content that should already be in the game most of the time. :-/

    I was reading an article about how DLC and the reliance of modern games on internet connectivity is actually going to shorten their shelf life in the long run.

    Good Call, Trying to rushdown Apprunner's Cammy will just have you eating Canon Spikes for free. Though being defendive doesn't seem to particulary work either...I dunno, I'm still trying to find the counter to his play style but no good Cammy's are online :(
