Haha oh man you got jok-....wait what your serious? Are we talking about the same street fighter? You know, the series that gets 5 remakes of the same game with balance revisions every six months?
Yeah, I watched it. Wolfkrone seems like nice enough of a guy and obviously a great player, but I root against all Viper players. Such a broken character.
This game is pretty balanced, there's only a few 7-3 matchups in the game. That said, there are definite tiers of characters - they're not all created equal.
Broken? They nerfed her already. She's not broken, it's people like Latif and Wolfkrone that make people seem she's broken. Put Viper in any of us average players hands and you'll see she isn't a free win character.
Cammy is easy to learn because she is fast and has limited move set. Lots of people seem to use her as a second character. However, very few Cammys above 3k BP because she may have limited upside due to many bad matchups. I think Cody is way worse than Makoto. At least she has a decent offense. What does Cody have?
The jaw crusher with an insane hitbox, his Ex Ruffian Kick pass throught projectiles, his EX Criminal Upper has grab invincibility, the Zonk Knuckle is pretty annoying and his slide too.
http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2012/mar/01/clockw0rk-stops-g4tv-show-some-street-fighter-x-tekken-combos/ The first combo in the video is a rad Vega one. How I see the worst characters. Yun Sakura Makoto Makoto just has so many bad matchups and a tough time getting in. She can do high damage, but sometimes, she really really really really really really really needs meter. Also, her St. HP - Hayate Cancel - St. P - EX Oroshi/Hayate is near impossible to pull off in here... Sakura is a little better, seeing as she has a great crossup, easily confuses the opponent, and has a better move to get through meter. However, she's really frail and just can't get out or get in, sometimes. She needs to link into St. P after a Shunpu to start doing some real meterless damage. Yun is the best out of these three. He has a move that gets him through fireballs if you time it right, and his EX version of that sends him almost across the full screen! He has really easy ways to combo into his ultra, but he suffers from having many bad matchups, just less than Makoto and Sakura. I don't think I explained this very well, did I?
If need be, Cody can force the opponent to stand up so he can combo into Ruffian Kick with his Cr. MP. And his sweep is much faster, now. And his rocks can get below other projectiles, and he can feint it. His crack kick also jumps over low attacks, if you can predict right. He also has a Cr. LP to tick throw, not that he can't do it with his slide. And his EX Rocks are amazing. So much recovery. Heeeey! I was just checking out the voting thing for Tekken x Street Fighter, and even though it has no effect on their decision, you can vote for Yun! And Yang!
It seems like people never string together a decent combo with him. Makoto can at least take a third of your hit points with a combo. Maybe Nash needs to go master Cody to show me the way.
I think what Yun needs is a really good connection and the use of resets. Also I don't know how hard is for a Yun player to choose on which thing he will spend the super bar.
He already got a good Cody. This is not a decent combo, but looks fun (at least for me): FA -> Ex Bad Stone -> St. Punch -> Ruffian Kick -> FADC -> Ultra. Or instead St. Punch use Crack Kick -> Ex Criminal Upper.
It's not that hard, actually (regarding meter). Sometimes, I just activate Genei Jin to play mindgames with my opponent, but that's only in desperation. Yun, if given things like his LP Zesshou Hohou, St. HK, St. MP, and Sourai Rengekki, could do a LOT better in the competition. His problem is basically that he can't pull off big damage consistently, and that he has such horrible stamina.
game street fighter is also my favorite game.Actually,I like the action game.I have played many times this game. But when I started the game I thought this is new for me.Really, this game is interesting to me.
She is a character that requires high execution skills, no doubt. But her offensive skill set is unmatched. There isn't another character in the game that even resembles her. To me, she just doesn't belong in the game. She doesn't fit IMO.
Honda's jump k, cr k, headbutt, super does 610 damage. Sakura's jump p, cr p, uppercut, super does 550. Those are the 2 best I've found so far (only checked a few characters tho).
Cammy's jumping punch-standing punch-super does 487. For stuff without super, the jumping punch-standing punch-uppercut to FADC - uppercut does 400.
This makes her fun to fight against. I'd rather play against Viper than any boring shoto. I think Akuma and Ken must be the absolute worst to play against...yawn.
Cody's Jump P, Standing P, Ruffian Kick, Super does 576. Balrog's Turnaorund (level ? 280 dmg) > Super does 620. Viper Jump P, FFF, EX Seismo, burn kick, hard HK does 493. That's pretty amazing for 1 bar.
For one bar, and an ultra, Yun can pull this off without it needing to be meaty: Kobokushi - EX Nishokyaku - You Hou Only in the corner, of course. Nets you 600 damage if the revenge meter is full.
