Your set up is insane~ I don't wanna let you trapped to corner~ Don't really know how to deal during e first two sets. Oh yea~ all e while I'm searching for character who can play in smooth and bad connection, and found out Chun Li is e one~ and do suit me well~ But still got alot to learn, for her match up. Oh yea~ I looking forward e Makoto cup~
You have to hit/touch Focus immediately after fireballing -- don't wait for the fireball for hit confirmation .. fireball-focus the moment you've got the fireball out. That gives you a bigger window for you to recover from the FADC and get that standing P out.
Here's a wild idea. The weekly Capcom BN character tourneys have helped to promote the use of different characters. I think for a few of us, it's added one or two new characters to the repertoire. And there have definitely been instances where we've shared and discovered a lot of new techniques, combos, and strategies for those characters. Over the past few months, we've also had spurts of development of certain characters -- "Guile Week" comes to mind, when we had 20,000 different combos appear. Felix has also spent plenty of time in the lab. Yesterday and today, we've gotten a bunch of Akuma combos. What do people think of having a weekly character here? I know some ppl prefer to only play a single character -- but for the rest of us, I think it would help to focus our efforts. That way, we don't discover a new combo this wk for Yun, post it, only to discover Felix already covered it 3 wks ago. Creates a lot of momentum, esp if most of us start using that character in both ranked/friendly play. Thoughts?
And seeing as how we were debating Akuma's playability in the 3K-4K BP range, as well as Felix and FINIX providing Akuma combos, that's certainly someone we could start with for the week.
Yes i do. I also use feilong and practicing Yun. Felix teach me, yes? :X i love ure yun. we always tie lololol. i try my best to rush down and not use zoning cuz it wud be no fun
I've fought your Yun? Sorry, but I don't really remember who you are. Let me grab those instructions that I gave hieu...
This is a bunch of stuff that I sent hieu. Some of the stuff, I told him on here, and the only hope to find it would be to look through my own posts... In a match, try to see whether your opponent knows that they can counter a wakeup Kobokushi. If they don't know how to, you can keep on doing it on their wakeup. If they do know, you should switch between the feint and the real deal. To do the feint, you hold back + SP. Yun's blockstring is Cr. LK x2 - Target Combo 1 - Tetsuzanko. You can also switch this up a bit by doing a Zenpou Tenshin after the Cr. LK x2, because it catches quite a few opponents off gaurd. No matter how awesome a combo Cr. MP x2 is, don't use it. It is unreliable online. Instead, you should do Cr. MP - Nishokyaku, despite its lesser damage. Cr. LK x2 - St. LP - Sweep is probably only really useful against Blanka and Chun, seeing as they don't have great reversals and have a tough time getting out of Yun's area. Contrary to what Snooper said before, don't spam Kobokushi away from your opponent unless they're someone like Zangief, or you know that they can't instantly reach you. Remember that Tetsuzanko can go through projectiles, use it a lot. EX Tetsuzanko is also very good, with a long range and all that stuff. This is very rare, but if you get a counter hit, you can FADC the first hit and TC 1 - Nishokyaku. More for stylish points than anything else, though. You can also do it to get an easy Zenpou Tenshin in, because it's so fast. After a sweep in the corner, dash forward and Kobokushi. If it hits, you can combo in another Kobokushi and then Ultra. Alternatively, (you don't need the Kobokushi to be meaty for this) you can Kobokushi - EX Nishokyaku - Ultra. It is quite a strong combo. Two Cr. LK's gives you more time to react. It also sets up a bit more time for a blockstring, so if you suddenly stop your blockstring and your opponent mashes out a Shoryuken, you can punish them. The next step would be to practice Genei Jin combos. What I want you to practice are these: (corner) J. HP - Cr. MP - Tetsuzanko - Genei Jin - Kobokushi - Kobokushi - Senpukyaku - Kobokushi - Senpukyaku - until the meter gets low. Then, when the meter is like that, do Cl. St. MK - Jump Cancel - J. HP - Zenpou Tenshin - Cl. St. MK - Tetsuzanko - Dakai. This next one can be done anywhere on the screen, but gets you to and from pretty fast. J. HP - Cr. MP - Tetsuzanko - Genei Jin - Tetsuzanko - Senpukyaku - Nishokyaku - Cr. MP/HP and so on. Once you're near the corner, do Cr. MP - Kobokushi, and use up what's left in your meter. The reason for Cr. HP is because it is faster, does more damage, but the reason to not use it is because you might accidentally do a Tetsuzanko thanks to the controls. This is a small amount, but I want you to practice these a bit, seeing as these are your go-to combos in regards to Genei Jin. Also, don't forget that most Genei Jin combos can easily be started with a Kobokushi.
Im sorry i meant my sagat vs ure yun. u dont really remember lol we must've met like 5 times on rank? or more... btw is -40F part of TA? he RQ me the other day jus when i focused attacked him on the 3rd round of match 5. we tied 2-2 but i wuz countering him mad so yeah i guess he got mad
o i have a question, do u think the dive kick is as useful as it is in ssf4 ae, or do u think of some good ways to use it? cuz i ten to watch daigo play alot and its reallllllyyyyyy effective for closing in and mix ups
Far less useful than in AE. Why? Autoblock. It's still good, though. It can easily cancel out Akuma's Ultra, for example. It can also lead into an easy tick throw.
Truthfully if anyone beats me on my Apprunner account it's not shocking. I'm less than 50% on it now because I play while watching my kids. . My KaChiiga account is serious business though. I will not hold back when I am KaChigga. Edit. People have accused me of BP cheating because I sometimes do so bad as Apprunner . I usually just apologize for the bad play. How do I get Apprunner account to 0? Do I have to reinstall the game or just lose till I get to 0?
Yeah, you have to reinstall unfortunately. Is that with <4000 BP? if so, what a waste I have an idea. How about you donate your BP to the less fortunate ones who haven't experienced the 4000 BP goodness
