Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. Sure we have some S tier players that use guile but that doesn't mean the character is S tier.
I don't think you can keep people out as effectively with Deejay as with Guile. Play SLRC and its near impossible to get in on him. Deejay doesn't have as good normals as Guile (high kick for anti-air and air throws and better sweep). Also Guile seems faster than DJ and does more damage.
Yun's air hurtbox seems larger in the console version. And some of his hitboxes... :| I really want his J. Good guiles keep me out better then good Deejays. Except slrc and PV. But then again slrc is slrc. When I pick up Deejay, I can keep people out easier than with Guile. There aren't many good Deejays but there easily can be
Thanks for believing in me Apprunner, eventhough I haven't mastered the Uppercut-FAD-ultra yet Progress has been really slow though. Yeah, Abel should even be considered an A tier.... He is more agile and his ultra does an immense damage
I think DJ has great tools, but his damage output is low, and his sweep distance is much shorter than Guile's. His damage was nerfed in the update, and his sobat kicks no longer knockdown, that was HUGE. DJ does have a very nice way to juggle into his Ultra, and it gets through projectiles. His Sobat is punishable by Fei's Rekkas though, that's kind of bad. Both his EX-Sobat and EX-MachineGun are very very valuable. He's lacking a good wake-up move though. At least with Guile, you can Flash Kick - FADC. Now I feel like I should put Viper on hold and work on DJ a bit. He has a cross-up jump kick. Has a slide, has a crappy sweep. His standing K is a mediocre poke with a high hitbox. Lacks an overhead as well. Rushdown DJ? Hmm I wonder.
Quick question: So I was reading up on Sourai Rengekki's frame data, and found this. 1~12f invincible, 13~19f projectile invuln. Does the invincible part mean that projectiles won't affect it?
Yeah, it's right abel must be B tier if not A tier. His ultra goes through fire balls. But the only problem is that there aren't REALLY GOOD abel's. Same thing as guile's, if slrc wasn't here then who said guile was s tier? nobody
Don't forget that his jump kick can hit a standing opponent while jumping back if you time it just right. Also, he is one of the few that can do Focus Attack Level2/3 - Focus Attack Level 3. With that, he can finish up with up kicks.
If I can remember correctly, MaxSky was the Best Deejay I have ever played. Sadly, he said he won't play Volt for a year something):
Level 1 FA does a hit, no crumple. Level 2 FA does a stronger hit, does crumple, but doesn't hit through block. Level 3 FA hits through block, does the strongest hit, and crumples the opponent.
hey dude, sorry yesterday I was sleep(but I still checked who sent me the request lol). Let's fight tonight later. Also for whoever is practicing sagat most infamous combo, here is how I do it: press forward then input in order: sp ->FA -> (pause) -> k -> ultra so u don't need to move left thumb, right thumb just input four buttons in order. remember the pause is important, too early u will miss the kick(Wediafom that's what u did, press K too early).
In addition: Level 1 is when you tap the Focus button. Level 2 is when you hold the button, you get a white flash, and let go. Level 3 is when you hold the button until it hits automatically at the end.
OK, the way you explained it was kinda how I always thought of it in my mind.... thanks for the clarification mooken, felix!
