If you got meter with bison just do EX moves, especially EX stomp does immense damage! ;)

Btw, the viper - sagat match isn't that bad for sagat, if you know timing tiger shots and just defens flame kicks and use much standing kicks and tiger knee on timing. GOOD LUCK :p:D
Btw, I play agressive as a viper player and if I play sagats they most randomly ultra and 6/10 it works. Soo:rolleyes:
Edit: against all fireball-characters I use EX thundernuckle. Whatch out for that vipers, because if they hit you on a long distance they can ultra :)

Correct my if I said something wrong

I don't consider Akuma Top Tier because he's a one track character in this version, losing most of his powerful vortex options from the console version and having a heavier reliance on zoning in Volt means once you learn how to beat his fireball game he's such an easy fight. I had faith that he could be a heavy mix up character in this game but in my opinion he's the second worst Shoto only to be beaten for worst by Sakura.

I suppose I'll pull a snooper and whip up a spur of the moment tier list, mine will be based purely on opinion and if you thinking I'm wrong I'm not gonna fight you on it so if you feel different let me know.

    S Tier
    Sagat
    Bison
    Guile
    Ryu

    A Tier
    C. Viper
    Zangief
    Balrog
    Fei Long
    Cammy
    Honda
    Dhalsim
    Ken
    Akuma

    B Tier
    Blanka
    Dee Jay
    Vega
    Makoto

    C Tier
    Chun Li
    Cody
    Abel

    Terrible Tier
    Yun
    Sakura

    Discuss?

You can also just use Seismo from a distance, if you're up against a turtling fireballing Sagat. You could even trade seismos for tiger shots and still be better off.

Here's my opinion. I could probably piece together something better if I had the time. Makoto was too high, Yun was too low, Ryu was a bit high, Dee Jay is not that good, Ken seems a bit low, I dunno about C. Viper, Abel is good if you can handle jumpy characters...

    S Tier
    Sagat
    M. Bison
    Guile

    A Tier
    Ryu
    C. Viper
    Ken
    Zangief
    Blanka
    Akuma

    B Tier
    Cammy
    Fei Long
    Vega
    Dhalsim
    E. Honda
    Balrog (TenOnez' Balrog, at least)

    C Tier
    Abel
    Dee Jay
    Yun
Cody (Could change when I play epikninjas Cody)
    Makoto
    Chun-Li
    Sakura

Edit: Actually, mine looks a bit stupid. :|

I think Makoto belongs to the 'Terrible Tier'. And maybe Abel on the B tier.

    S-Tier
    Sagat
    Ryu
    Bison
    Guile

    A-Tier
    C. Viper
    Zangief
    Balrog
    Fei Long
    Honda
    Blanka

    B-Tier
    Cammy
    Dhalsim
    Vega
    Akuma
    Ken
    Dee Jay
    Chun Li
    Abel

    C-Tier
    Makoto
    Cody
    Yun
    Sakura

A little different than iVolosters list. I think Ryu is second best when played right (Nyak is 4500 BP player).

I reduced A tier and increase B -tier by this reasoning. You don't see many Sims or Akumas or Cammys in the 3-4k range but you do see a whole bunch more Giefs and Hondas in the range. I think they have less matchup issues too. The B-tier people have 2-3 really bad matchups but tend to be decent characters. C-tier is just characters that have glaring flaws that cannot be overcome easily.

Does anyone know a simple way to delete GC friends.... like as in going through ifile or the PC to do it?

I really would rather delete them from a text file then have to use GC slow ass interface that takes 10 years....... any idea?

    thanks!

Its easier, just select the friend in gc and scroll down and press on unfriend

edit: If you don't want to use GC and want to do it with anything else, then I don't know :(

Someone please tell me why everyone says Guile is S tier. I think he's A. His D is good, but crackable. I think Deejay is just as good, but with better O. Or do I sound stupid..?

Have you played slrc_91's Guile? He has one of the best. I didn't really understand why Sagat was called S Tier... until I fought Squall. That was amazing. You don't sound stupid, you're just genuinely asking a question.

epik, stupid question :p hahaha just kidding.

How many DJ's have you lost to? How many guiles have you lost to?

Guile figure should be much larger, I have fought one DJ over 3k BP and he was a good DJ, but just couldnt do anything... Guile has many tools, can play a great rush down, or a great defencive game..

    Short answer: Nobody.

Long answer: What DROQQA said. I'd add that it's usually a really fun matchup with Sim but you have to know the matchup. I think that's true with anyone fighting Sagat though.
