close distance.... well when the issue is spacing, just play life lead game... get the chip and just build meter with devil reverse. At beginning of match, lets say guile players... or especially honda players... they start walking backwords, I just do tele on otherside and grab...... Dash forward and the sliding sweep is a great starting move as well, you can usually throw a headstomp out if they block that and start the pressure real tough. Bison also has a good defence game.. he can avoid a lot and his dash is great, against certain people who have good openers i just dash back one and keep some space, if they jump in your standing kick will work great. Put some replays up of some matches your having difficutly with, I will teach you the way of the dictator!
Haha my Fei has been horrid the past week or so, I haven't been playing much and trying to hop back into it and scrape the rust off is proving to be harder than I imagined. That being said I always enjoy new Fei's coming along and welcome any challenge apparently just not today because I am playing like garbage.
I don't see why you guys get so rusty. I hadn't played Yun for a bit, after being beaten by mimimapu, and all of a sudden, he was better.
Rust can come from many things Felix, mine due to me grinding AE preparing for a tournament last week and AE and Volt are two different games so I'm readjusting to Volt all over again. I don't play Volt daily actually I'll go whole weeks without hopping on it but this most recent span was definitely my longest up until this past week I hadn't had serious sit down with Volt since the beginning of February. Turns out you can't clean rust with salt though

What do you mean by that? If you are asking about Sagat's bad matchups, i think Blanka may be a bad match for him. I could be wrong though.
I imagine other Sagats mostly Viper + Bison have a reasonable time w him as well. I imagine Abel might also have a good chance. Just need to be super careful around that UC > FADC, stepkick, Ultra. edit: AppRunner's right, Blanka can be a tough customer too.
boo. i haven't picked up either blanka nor viper nor bison. but i do know how to play sagat so thats my only option. sagats such a bad match against sagat maybe i should pickup bison... hmm but every bison nowadays think that 2x standing roundhouse is the "iwin" button. smh
I believe Bison and Guile are really good vs Sagat I can't imagine anyone else being very strong against him in Volt. Sagat is fairly broken in this game, no unbeatable but certainly Op'd.

Cammy's foot speed also makes her a viable choice. Her Instant Divekick can probably address a lot of the lowkick>knee issues by make the low kick whiff, Ultra flies through tiger shots. A lot of walk-up-and-toss mix-ups too.
May be some luck.... but if we were to beat you it would be nothing but luck as well... its all about the bait and punish in that match up... damn though, that grab you mix up with can be so hard to counter though! I have noticed, Cammy has more bad matchups then bison, you have to work a lot harder for your wins, takes a lot of skill, patience and timing on your part, most matchups with bison it seems that bison has it in his favor.. sagat I have to be careful against, that stupid ��������in ultra combo, everytime I get hit with the uppercut its like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *edit* litterly, I rarely play with the sound on, but I hate when I do and hear bison go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO makes me extra salty LOL
Yeah...that one is literally "i win" button Have you played Berzerk_2nd. He is a freak with that combo...never misses! He and Squall are the best Sagats i've played. Wediafom's Sagat is rapidly closing in though. I think Sagat fits his style better than his Ryu so he'll be even more formidable. Like you said, Cammy is definitely not a top tier in my book like Bison. She is mid or mid-high but she is fun to play and can be really pesky
As a sagat player, the hardest matchups are cammy, blanka and viper. Characters with speed that can hit low from a distance give sagat fits. Next would probably be bison, guile and vega, though the vega thing might just be me. Everyone else sagat can handle.
