Was playing against an akuma today, he missed a shoryuken and I punished him with ultra, he was going to lose the second round in this ultra, and then... one friend called me, god I got so upset.
Easily worth five notes. This is an A Game on the platform and is great fun for SF veterans a d casual players alike. I got Vilt for $.99 but paid full price ($6.99?) for SFIV.
Damn, I see how you did that, very nice. If I remember which Bison player you were online, then you're much better than I am
Yea that's grueling. Free-sparring and 4 stars on cpu level. He doesn't have the double air fireball. A normal Akuma won't tech when he falls or be as smart when using the Ultra. I'll post a video of the solo play Akuma if you want. He's definitely tougher than a normal difficulty opponent but not as hard as the grueling counterpart since there's not much leeway for errors against him.
That's Grueling Akuma, yes. But not story mode Grueling Akuma, who is altogether a different kettle of fish. Anyways, many of the same strategies will work, but you'd still need a handful of luck to pull off a victory against him.
What is the secret achievement under "Exorcise the Demon!"? You can see it on your player card, dunno bout Game Center.
I did get past him... I assumed there was no achievement for Grueling Akuma... so I just let myself lose after an hour. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFf-
Any tips for using C.Viper? Apparently she's pretty good but I can't seem to do that well with her online. Especially against akuma and other fireball/srk characters.
http://www.eventhubs.com/guides/2008/jul/08/crimson-viper-street-fighter-4-character-guide/ The guide's for the non-iOS version, but most of the suggestions/strategies still apply. She does great chip damage. Her flame kick is reasonably safe on-block. Learn her groundpound->crouch->superjump->flamekick (-> fierce thunder knuckle for corners) combo. And groundpound->crouch->groundpound->crouch->groundpound cancel. Essentially, her groundpound, on-block, can be interrupted via a super-jump. You can then interrupt that super-jump with another groundpound, or a superjump flamekick. When you do flamekicks on the ground, hold up+towards+SP. That lets you cross-up with the flames. Just hitting SP alone has a much much smaller attack box. Keep attacking.
Me too I did beat grueling bison using Honda as well. No surprise he is the easiest char to used against non human op, but he has no chance for grueling Akuma
I read somewhere that a big part of her game is in air burning kicks, because it's hard to tell which side it's gonna hit and which side you need to block. Auto block kinda screws this up.....
