And if you want to Genei Jin punish them, you need to combo into it, because it's very unsafe otherwise.

So I'm trying to play on ranked and all my matches are laggy. I switch to friendly matches and the game started to go very well. I switch again and I can't connect with anyone. Who was trolling me? And on a side note, this Eat_Da_Monkey guy beat my Sagat (using Guile) on friendly, I switched to Guile and he disconnected on the VS screen. Then he sent me a friend request with a 'Hahahahahaha!!!!!!' as comment. Can anyone tell me where's the joke? I don't get this new Volt players
Sooooo... I uploaded a few replays. The first one is against a Balrog, I was using Ryu, and I think I did it pretty well. Then we have a replay against epikninja. His Ryu destroyed mine so bad... There's a Ryu mirror match against a player with 0 BP's. I just uploaded because of the ending. One (ranked) against a Bison. The matches today on ranked were laggy for some reason. And finally against jinx215's Chun Li. There were 2 intense matches, specially because IMO Chun is a bad match up for Guile (or at least I suck against Chun Li). Too bad we 'lost connection' at the second match, when he was about to lose. Unplugging modem on friendly? Anyway, I want your opinion, specially with the first 2 Ryu matches. I like playing with him and it's even funnier not using SP assistant. Maybe I'll polish my skills with him.
Wow, I'm gone for 1 week and I'm 100 pages behind on this thread........ I kinda shut down after playing so many matches the week before racking up pts for the Bison tournament and couldn't handle doing ranked or friendlies. Hope I haven't missed anything big around here. I see that the next set of characters is up and FINIX00 is on top. Good job! Apprunner, I saw your post that Batman seems to be earning EP 2x as fast as you. With his BP, he will be earning 58EP/win while you will be earning 48EP/win. It might not be 2x as fast, but it's still a huge advantage for him. In my opinion, he is the best Chun-Li on Volt. I haven't seen him around as much for the past 2 months but he has never ragequit on me. It could have been an honest disconnection. Was there lag during the matches? I see his Chun-Li missing the links and even times where some moves didn't come off... As for the replays, very nice. That Bipson was too free. I'm amazed at how well you do without SP assist.
@slrc I don't mind the guile vs chin matchup. They can't ultra through your sonic boom and they have no good antiair so you can just jump at them all day (and neutral jump beats out early ex spinning bird kick). So long as you can block and don't get sweeped (empty jump) I feel it's fine @finix I just smashed aoi sora, the #2. I best him 10-0 and with my own claw in one round! Don't be chained within the BP paradigm. I'm serious. It's so meaningless. Play the best opponents you can and just have fun. I had an awesome night in ranked. Only 2 rage quits and played a ton of quality fighters. Had almost 30 matches I think.
Seriously, I don't get why this thread is so big... I don't mean to seem like a fanboy or a hater, but it's a 2D fighting game with multiplayer. Sure it sounds fun for a while, but I can't see the appeal of giving this thread this many views and pages...
