School is for fools kid, drop out like I did. Get a job waiting tables and pickup forgotten Iphones that happen to have Street Fighter installed and play while on the Job. Man life is sweet!
GOt beat by a honda named Solo Espresso. Wasn't even very good. Lag kills any chance of Viper beating Honda. Need those exact frames to punish Headbutts and Squats w cr.K > medium TK.
About that, yeah, I have, but I've stopped doing it. It is so infuriating though... the temptation to press it after an unfair loss. My BP's taken a big hit, but Heif says that it'll all level out in the end. Ah... I cannot wait for that moment. So sorry. But I don't remember fighting a BurningParadise... I'll check my cards and get back to you. Is it that hard to punish his Headbutt under lag? I can understand his Splash, but I'm just surprised about that...
So just met Programering and D4 was saying how he is a RQ. Well, I just quit on his vs screen. Saves me the trouble I guess
How do the character tournaments work? I think I might actually take this one seriously, but I really have no idea how the scoring or whatever works. My bp is usually terrible because I screw around too much. I think I could hold my own in the tournament, though.
Well, at least w the punish I'm using, it's cr K > med TK, there's enough bounce-back and distance that I maybe have 2 frames to catch it. Splash is clsoe to 1 frame.
Wins net you Tourney Event Points. Beating a 1500 BP player gets you around 32 EP. a 2500BP is around 42EP. PSXSquall had it up a few days ago. That's pretty much it. I'm not sure if there's a correlation between Event Points and the Team Tourney going on right now .. maybe you get more points via the character tournies? Hence them saying that you need the whole team's help to win the tourney.
One thing with Gief I still can't quit figure out is how to get to a Sagat who just stands and kicks. EX green hand will hit him, but you take longer to recover than he does, which means another kick in the face. Nothing else seems to work. I have to be missing something.
Oh, hell yes. I have a much easier time with people with 2000+ bp. I think I can get into this. My bp is usually low because I lose a lot of stupid matches to low bp people (1000bp Kens *sigh) and I tend to rematch high bp people who beat me a lot. If we only get scored on winning, I might actually do okay.
I have a good way I discovered last night of dealing with this... do crouching kicks and it will move you foward just enough to sweep them, once they are down its mind games time..... Also, if you stand and doing regular punches... youll trade but that makes sagat think twice about the kicks. I had much luck with using the crouching kick though, it moves you a few spots right under sagats kick, just enough to knock em down! I may actually have a replay up of this... here is link, this actually doesnt show it too well, we went a few more rounds where he used the kick more... wish I would have saved those... but this one kind of shows it: http://sf4iv-en.capcom.jp/analytics/replay_download.php?r_id=20120223_00170250_748_AE650201_rpdata&d=
As I was writing that, I was wondering if his low kick could creep in. You'd have to really watch for tiger shots, I assume. I'll have to go into the training room and try that out. Thanks.
The current Viper tourney, the top player has around 9000 EP, so translates to around 200-300 matches. The current Cody tourney, the top player has 2000 EP, so around 50 matches. So number of matches/wins needed is all across the board.
Lol. That made me laugh. sorry. Just use Cammy for rushdown or try Bison Edit: Also think about Ken as rushdown. probably the only shoto who can pull it off.
