The randomness and mindgames are amazing! There's no holding back, no restraints, super power everywhere!... Ah...

I thought the connection was pretty good, but probably that's because I've got shitty Internet recently... I know, I recognised your facd mistake. Same happened to me :/ Good games anyway! Good sagat!! A little bit pity I didn't face your Yun today though :D I'm working on Akuma at the moment, trying not to be a scrub..

Haha thanks! I haven't played Voloster for ages but you seem to have outclassed him by a margin when it comes to Fei, just saying;)

So, if you're somebody like Gief, what do you do if somebody tries to focus attack as you get up?

If they're close enough, I just throw them and laugh:D
But, if they stand back where a throw can't reach, I generally get hit, especially if I'm in a corner. Does anybody know of a good way out of that?

I'm used to Akuma. With him, I just uppercut, or I teleport back if they're trying to be a smartass by trying to fool me by canceling.

    Do people do that?

That guy got his ass kicked every round for at least 6 matches, probably more, then he suddenly develops the most effective and aggressive Akuma vs Gief strategy I've ever seen. I couldn't touch him!
He wasn't even spamming. He was right in my face beating on me and I couldn't even make contact with him. It was unbelievable... literally, unbelievable. Unless he had a friend next to him who just happens to be the best Volt Akuma in the world, I can't explain it.

They're seperate accounts. You know what i need to edit that, "D4Gamers" is dead. I only use 1 account now.

@Not_You I sent you a friend request, I dont know if you got it or not. As for your gief problem, you can just jump , i dont know fir sure but I think double lariat beats focus attack??? Dunno.

Just lost to a Sagat who stood still and spammed his stand kick.
    No joke.
    A f***ing standing kick.

I had no answer for it. None of Gief's moves could get in range:confused:

Watch some Cyrus814 replays. He does a good job of spanking Sagat.

Also so things that might work, 1. standing punch, 2. lariat and move towards, 3. dash fwd & grab, 4. I have seen Cyrus also so a SPD on the kick while its coming out (Geif's grab range increases as Sagat is kicking out).

    good luck

Or my friend plays online and then I take over for 1 or 2 matches. He's low BP so it must be a shocker :D

Don't forget that Low Kick helps you move while ducking under High Tiger Shots. :D

    1) tried it
    2) tried it. That guy was pretty determined to be an ass. Even if that worked, the damage would be insignificant and he'd keep doing it
    3) tried it
    4) That does work, but I couldn't do it. There was a period where he just rapidly tapped kick, but in general he would mix the timing, so I couldn't just grab him.

Other than that one move, I couldn't think of anything. A focus attack wouldn't even reach. Unlike the rest of the non-fireball characters, he can't dive in quickly with an attack. I did some flying body presses and that gave him the only damage he received. Most of those didn't even connect.

You need to remember Sagat is the worst enemy to Zangief so you can't just wait and crack his move. You need to try you best to knock him down and do the FBA to him, play the mind game. For me, I would rather use the lariat to counter his standing kick. Although i would get hurt, he would therefore be knocked down. Then I know the chance is coming.......

Wtf man, can I be the first to discover something for once :(

Countless sweat, tears and Hours in training mode to discover something, Mooken found out years ago. All I had to do was ask.

Sorry to have ruined the surprise, dude !!

If it helps you feel any better, I have no intention of trying to pull off this move in-game. Pulling off FFFs (Fierce-Feint-Fierce) is too difficult for me in-game, esp when I'm concentrating on slightly safer punishes.

Mind you, YYOJJO uses FFF all the time, so maybe I'm just a poor player =P

Also, someone else posted the video for this combo maybe 3 months ago .. ? In regards to putting a 800 or 850 stun. So I was hardly the first to find out about it.

Just found a short cut to do Seismo - SJC- Seismo.
    f + SP, uf, f + SP.

That's so much easier than doing the full SJC.
All this time I've been squeezing in a 'down,up' between all my moves.

    Game changer.
