There are 3 videos of me against a very good Gief named Ache. He was really good at getting in on me. I had to keep him away to have a chance, as is clear based on what happens every time he gets in on me.

In the second match, he just demolishes me in the first round. That's what happens when I try to get tricky and do something other than teleport away in those situations. In the third match, the first round is a perfect example of how he controlled the spacing and kept me out of my rhythm. As the videos show, even in the rounds I won, he really kept me thinking and making decisions, ready to pounce when I made a mistake. Like Cyrus said, he acted as the hunter and mixed up his gameplan to get in.

 

Ache is actually pretty good. Its been awhile since I played him but I think he played guief differently than others.

 

Yeah. We sparred the other week. He has a good Gief.

 

Im really more impressed with your Dhalsim than the Gief player.

 

hi Jibba, sorry I quit on vs screen, I just reset my bp(I got mad and deleted the game and my profile one day, not clever) so I think it's unfair to u, sent a friendly game request but didn't get response, guess u were fighting with someone else.

 

Yeah, he was one of the very few times that I've sent someone a GC request after some good matches. I respected the guy for sticking with a tough matchup even though it was ranked (and obviously for pulling out a win or two). If I wasn't using Sim, he likely would have stomped me. He's one of the best Giefs on Volt in my opinion.

 

Sorry buddy. I actually put down my phone for a minute so I didn't notice. I appreciate you trying to do what's fair, but I wouldn't have complained if it ended with me giving some BPs to a teammate (and great player).

But yeah, I deleted once too and had a long period where Battle Network didn't recognize me. Glad it worked out for you quickly. I'll be around if you want to get a set in.

Oh, i didn't see that i was playing you! I wasn't really paying attention to names because I just started cody today, you probably got one of my first 10 matches with him online.

 

I think I could really get into Cody, but I'm going to have to get used to charging the zonk knuckle. It's just a weird mechanic for me, but it's his best wakeup option! Gotta learn it.

 

got beaten by a Dahlsim 7 sets in a row, haha, I almost smashed my phone. Right now I feel kind of stupid

Long time ago I lost to Ken Ken's Sim so bad it made me switch from Ryu to Cammy . Sim can be frustrating.
