I try to not this game seriously and all, because it's a game full of RQers, Cheaters, Droppers, AUTO BLOCK, etc, but it's the competitive nature in me. I am indeed quite salty that I did not get my BP from a Bison ranked in the 4.6k range, not that I didn't think he wouldn't DC in the first place. Yes, his comment is that "iBleedPurp&Yello", but I believe the only thing he bled were the salty tears that he shed as I caught him with a headbutt, then ultra'd, and KO'd the gentleman as he furiously mashed the Home button as a legendary means of escape. Save those BPs gentlemen! "FORGET LEGIT, WE HAVE TO QUIT!" is the motto here! For these BPs are what determine if you face Daigo at EVO2k12 or not... Though you may ragequit during that match as well and complain that the light was in your eyes, your controller stopped working, the booth babes started giving out lapdances to random tourney participants, and Diago was doing sign language to deaf, needy children while playing on his controller as a distraction and that's not fair. However, that is what makes you a true champion. "This is may be an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch game BUT THIS GAME IS MY LIFE DAIGO!" they will say! "I ragequit for glory!" as they descend off of the stage into a crowd of boos.
Amen! Honestly If I ran this game. Anyone who reaches 10 ragequits in the span of a month is banned for the next month on ranked, go play friendlies nerds.
Also, I've noticed that M. Cuong placed sad smiley faces on my profile, after a set which he won most of, I'll admit. Good games to him, I still have to work on facing his Bison. However, for players in general, if you win and still try to put down your opponent, that makes you a scrub. You can be a good player, but your attitude can make you just an average scrub. I don't care who your name is nor your amount of BP. Smack talk is fine, that's the way the game goes, but when you try, poorly, to put down a player that you won against, I don't see you as a good player in my eyes. What makes me a great player in this game is that I'm humble. I like to win, I strive to win, but I won't put down a player if I double perfected them or they beat me that day. In fact, I try to encourage a player to keep playing and get better. You can always be beaten in this, or any other game, by anyone, just some people are harder to beat than others. My attitude is what makes me who I am, not just my skills in the game. That's why people enjoy playing and challenging me and that's how my name gets spread so far in this game. First and last time speaking on this and will keep it professional.
You are a classy player TenOneZ and honorable. You've always encouraged me as you pasted me at the same time but I never felt you would rub it in my face. Please join us now in AccentCore as most have already abounded ship.
Wow Apprunner I Just saw your replay vs Nero's Viper, now i know your going easy on me lol, that was a hreat show!
Uploading two matches from a set I had with SUPA's Honda. I drop the ball, hard, in one and get the ball back in one. Good, close matches. Thank you. I'll try to join the team whenever a spot opens up.
My competitive side is what keeps me coming back for more as well. It's also what makes me angry when I don't get my well-deserved BPs at the end of a round. It's true, that at the end of the day, none of it matters. But games are supposed to have rules and Capcom has allowed online play in Volt to become a world with no real rule except the honor system. Take solace, however, in the fact that these people that cheat in a sad attempt to pump up their legitimate BP level are likely to be pretty sad people in real life. Can you imagine having to resort to cheating at a meaningless game to feel better about yourself? That said, you should definitely look to switch teams so we can all work together to win the team tournies on TA AccentCore. Unfortunately, we finally had to abandon Team TouchArcade for a number of reasons. Hope to see you on TAAC TenOnez.
Isn't he the one who's been able to use swear words in the public timeline thingy and has really high BP? And the one who raged about Capcom ruining his Honda? Good matches, though.
Yeah, he's an angry guy. His sig is something like "suckmyd***!" What is wrong with these people? I hope he's just a kid.
@Apprunner Good games dude! I'm still in the process of learning Gief and right now I'm no match for your Cammy. Would have loved to test my Guile against you. Maybe in the near future
That's all true. It's sad we have to go by an honor system, but this is just a mobile game at the end of the day and Capcom is a company that needs to make money. They probably got most of what they wanted for it by now. Well, as long as they feel better about themselves I guess. I'll try to join TAAC when I catch an open spot. Yep, that's the same one. Swears all over the place. Never changed his Comment in his box during VS matches either. That's SUPA's trademark tho. You know it's him from just reading his profile and VS comment.
Sorry had to go so abruptly. My kid just woke up from his nap. . Your zgief is coming along nicely . I would like to play your Guile too. Look forward to it. Be gentle.
very well said Jibba! I'd say the Sim/Gief match-up is 6.5:3.5 after the update. Cyrus's Gief can hang tough with my Sim. The last time we played (a lot time ago) was a 5:5
