I remember we fought twice and all sets we had 3 rounds and were very close. If we kept going I'm sure you will beat me. The revenge you got tonight is the best kind of revenge I can imagine
See if you can tell when I get pissed off http://sf4iv-en.capcom.jp/analytics/replay_download.php?r_id=20120220_02250215_571_131DBC9_rpdata&d=
TenOnze and Xcool, we have a spot open if one of you can join TAAC I don't know if we left out anyone else....
I've finally used Gief enough to now how to handle spammers and all that. The good fighters were never problem The only thing I can't quit deal with is Viper Seismo spammers. I know you can get through it, but I can't seem to do it. I'll have to go into training and see what I can do. Edit: Nevermind. It's not as hard to get through seismo spam as I thought. Once you understand how that move works exactly, it's easier to get through than fireballs. You basically just need to jump through it, but jump or land when it hits. That really all there is to it. If you time it right, you can also green hand twice and barrel right through to your opponent.
Probably more! I'm supposed to counter with electricity but it just wouldn't come out! Nothing pisses me off more than doing a move and it not come out:[
If you're afraid of Gief, please quit before the match starts and don't try boring your opponent to death. I've had only a couple real opponents all night. So many rounds ended with the clock running down. It was pure tedium. Nobody wants to win, they just want to run away to somehow prevent losing. That makes no sense to me. Either: 1) My sig says "I'm drunk"... because I'm drunk. 2) You were either running away and not fighting or spamming. 3) (the most likely the answer) I'm drunk and just felt like quitting. 4) I'm drunk I'm doing friendly matches only, so I'm not losing sleep over it.
Noproblem, but fighting aggresive against zangief is no option. And I wasn't running away.. Maybe you were a little bit to drunk. Charching is anything different.
Agreed. Or maybe hopping backwards, then trying to slide forward under a fireball with epic reaction time, only to have blanka do a rolling ball right into it. Or trying to do a non-ex rainbow roll when you predict a jump, only to have the first SP touch not do anything, so you touch again once or twice quickly and WHAMO, ex elec at full screen. Bar wasted (and you probably just got hit with a projectile, too). Awesome.
For some reason I feel Guiles are the most who quits. Damn, they all wanna be like the top Guile, or something...
When you perfect anyone 1 round, they quit Most japanese/chinese players quit, because they can't play..
Felix Thanks for the comment on PV's board, it's cool to see there's people who at least know he's not on the highest because of just his skills. Also, I found another Yun player, when I get my iPod I'll tell you the GC. He did it pretty decent against my Ryu
Dude I mean this in the least dickish sounding way possible, but that's how Gief is meant to be played against. Do you expect your opponent to just stand next to you and get SPD'd all day. If your gonna get salty and quit on people because they zone your Gief out then you shouldn't be playing Gief. Gief has tools like his lariat and green hand to get through fireballs and has many means of keeping the pressure on once he's in but that's the hardest part of playing Gief is getting in. No one without a death wish gets in Gief's face to fight it's just not logical, if you're not gonna learn how to deal with being zoned out and just quit instead then it's time to move on past Gief, it's not fair to fault other people for staying away from Gief by calling them cowards or spammers when they are simply playing the match up appropriately.
Think I am gonna change from character... ryu and viper aren't to easy for my anymore.. Viper is good, but I don't want a character that's pretty hard to handle anymore. Had a good time with viper, but also most people quit when I play viper. Think I am gonna switch to cammy/guile, but I don't know yet. Any suggestions?
GG's, Most of my tricks dont work against your cammy, being able to CanonSpike my crossups is something No one has been able to do, Im not bragging either, Sagat, Guile, Ryu, Ken, Akuma all of their uppercuts get caught. I have to test this. Very weird indeed.
Thank you for sparring me the trouble of having to type a 100 page essay on everything wrong he just said. Listen to Vaceotyn, he's speaking the truth. Go play Cyrus's Gief, use any character you want and afterwards, come back and tell us if you still feel the same way about "going heads up" against Gief.
