The iphone version comes from the console version, everything in the iphone version is in the console version. Seriously there's so much more excitement from experiencing the console version , especially with the mad evo matches (daigo poongko) .
No, it's totally different, different combo, times of fight and strategy fight! The console version is much better than Iphone version! So stop talking about ps3 x360 pc version!
@tognesimo: come on man- we're just enjoying the worldwide interest in SF. At any rate, this discussion of EVO is a bit better than making up nonsense about unlocking Evil Ryu.
You're right man! Evil Ryu is a big lie !!But talk about iphone version too because in this thread there too many off topic!
Didn't you know? In the new update, every time you ragequit another Evo video gets posted here... PS - The 'one o in lose' comment was directed as much at the entire internet as at you. Your English is infinitely better than my Italian!
Nobody knows something about the new update? maybe thursday? The thing that make me nervous is that Capcom has already done the characters and don't release them!
Yeah, although i thought the Latif vs Poongko match was actually more exciting. Latif had one hell of a run!
Well, just played my third online match and all the guy did was spam Hadouken and the Hurricane Kick using SP move assist as Ryu the whole match. Are most online players like this? Because my first two matches were fine but if most matches turn out this way I might save myself the frustration of having to deal with it.
Sadly yes, a lot of the game is using SP assist to spam projectiles and DP's when you get close. Most of them are dumb but if you get enough lag they'll win no matter how good you are. My suggestion is since they never punch or kick just jump over their projectiles or focus them until they hurricane kick to you then block that and throw them, walk over and block because they're going to uppercut you, then throw them and rinse and repeat. Some are smart and will sweep, so be prepared for that.
Hi al!!! As a newbi player please understand that I don't know better! The special moves are, well, Special for a reason! I don't know better than to use them! Having said that, I understand your frustration and hope Capcom find a wag to match players is similar ability.
Hope we see any updates soon i overplayed all characters Just pick up Akuma and spam down+SP vs these guys. Itll literally tear them apart.
Akuma is your friend in those situations. Learn how to use him and you'll make easy work of those jackasses.
I'm personally against using the SP move assist. I have never used it nor ever will. I think it's just a cheap outlet and waaaaay too easy for me to find satisfaction in using. It just wouldn't feel right. I recently unlocked him and played him in a few free-sparring matches and then used him for my three matches. I was trying to use him against Ryu and was doing good for a while but couldn't close it out. Any tips?
All I gotta do is jump close to them and crouch+block, they'll uppercut and fail, then you can punish them, repeat this procedure until they die
His triple fireballs (don't really care about the proper name) will blast right through theirs. They can't fire three before yours reaches them and they'll either get hit and fall down or have to block, then you can fire another before they can. It takes longer to fire off one of those, but get your timing down and it's very easy to do. A good way to do it is throw a single fireball to stop their oncoming one, then immediately throw a triple. They cannot move fast enough to stop it. You can teleport right through them too. You run the risk of getting an uppercut to the face, but you'll eventually get the hang of how to avoid it (e.g. try to land right in front of them, then after they miss the uppercut, throw them before they hit the ground). When they do hurricane kicks, just duck and hold down/back. When they are just past your head (just far enough that you turn around and *down/back* becomes *down/forward*) tap punch and you'll standing uppercut them right in the ass. Standing kicks are a fool proof way to hit them on the way down from an uppercut. Throws work too, but you'll need perfect timing or the spammers will hit you with another uppercut. The worst part of those guys is when they find that mindless spamming and button mashing doesn't work, they almost always ragequit. When you get a better record, you'll stop being matched against them, though. They never make it past beginner players.
