GG's and thanks! I've never used her against someone good so when I saw you I thought it was a perfect way to see where I'm at. You've shown me that most of the gimmicks and tricks I use wont work against smart players like you. Genejin Combos are the highlights of this game, good stuff.
come on, dude. U r one of the best players in sf4 volt community. u always said u suck and at the same time frequently kicking butt. EDIT: flowers are soooooo expensive today!
No no. Not saying I suck just that BP doesn't tell a good story of how good the player is. Its just not a good way to measure rankings IMO. For example, i could beat 100 2000bp players and get to 4k but that doesn't mean i should be at that level. It should be a better formula to take into account the relative players you beat but i'm probably asking too much of Capcom Edit: your crazy for buying flowers today...
GG D4Gamer. I was trying to be super aggressive in that Fei game and you were responding splendidly but then you pulled back? I kept playing aggressively and won but if you didn't pull back you would have won the match. just something to think about...if you have the momentum, keep going
So. In my training room testing, I've found two things in regards to Akuma. Jump Punch - Stand Punch - Tatsumaki - Goshoryuken (1 Hit) - FADC - EX Shakunetsu Hadoken - Shakunetsu Hadoken works. It does 413 damage and 613 stun. You can combo into Goshoryuken after hitting an airborne opponent with an air hadoken.
I can beat cammys...if and only if there is no lag. I've been playing redtiger alot and his damn internet connection sucks and I keep losing to him because my counter moves dont happen when they need to and as you know, if you whiff with cammy you pay. Just the other night I had a chance to finish him with my ultra (how rare is that), lukily (for him:|) there was lag so instead of holding my ultra in place it rolled right past him and he promptly gave me a nice face full of canon drill:|..... I raged quit after that
This game is gunna land me in the hospital due to high blood pressure levels. TECH MY THROWS DAMN IT! Whoo, needed to let that out GG's Apprunner your Cammy is still light years above mine.
Found some more Akuma stuff. You can get all three hits of a Goshoryuken in if you hit them once with an air Tatsumaki, but you can only get two if you land two hits of the Tatsumaki. The latter does more damage, though. (NOT CONFIRMED COMPLETELY) If you're going for stylish points, you can do this corner-only combo: Jump P - St. P - Shakunetsu Hadoken - Goshoryuken. Does a nice 312 damage
Yeah dude a lot of bad reads and mistakes on my end during that 2nd round it made me start turtling, one thing Ive should of learned is that when you turtle against your Cammy, you get put into one wild guessing game that leads to life or death.
Wouldn't it be cool if Capcom let us choose what moves we had for the characters? If they had that, what moves would you have for your main? For me, (Yun) it would be: Down SP - H Nishokyaku Down Back SP - L Nishokyaku Back SP - Kobokushi (M or H) Neutral SP - L Zesshou Hohou Forward SP - Zenpou Tenshin Down Forward SP - L Tetsuzanko Down K - Cr. LK Down Forward K - Cr. MK Back K - Cl. St. MK Neutral K - St. LK Forward K - Senpukyaku Jump K - J. HK (I think that's the one; not quite sure) Jump Down K - M Raigeki Shuu Jump Down Forward K - H Raigeki Shuu Down P - Cr. LP Down Forward P - Cr. MP Back P x3 - TC 4 Neutral P - St. LP Forward P - Dakai Jump P - J. HP
Bump. If we're going to win platinum in the character tourney we should continue the migration. Have Ken Ken or TenOnez been around lately? Aside from fastbridge I know the others have been around today or yesterday.
Just saw Ken busting out some nice chains. Some of these combos remind me of the button patterns they brought out in MK3, I couldnt see if thats how they were doing it. ...and ground bounces too!
Just RQ'd on a Vega in friendlies... if you're reading this, I'm sorry about that. He just kept on out-predicting almost everything I did... after his third win, I had had it. I was playing Yun, too... His name was 3-Chord Dork.
