Honestly, I think that I got overconfident. I didn't know Sim's true potential, and I thought that I had everything in the bag. Then I started seeing how good yours was, and I was trying to take control. As you can see, I failed miserably. It was my overconfidence and lack of enough knowledge, AND your skills that took me down.
I imagine if Snooper deputizes a few of us (is more than one deputy/subcaptain allowed), we could be back in business. I think Snooper uninstalled his Volt, to avoid temptation, so he might not be able to pull this off.
Well another problem arises with the fact that a bunch of people have already left the team. Even if Snooper handed over the reigns, it's still looknig more and more like a sinking ship. That's why, to the extent it's possible, I've been trying to figure out a way to do it as a group since other options are disappearing.
It could have been overconfidence. You came out like gangbusters and when I was able to pull off the comebacks, I was actually surprised myself. I think that against Sim, you have to stay aggressive.
Hey i am looking for some people to play / train with. New to SF4 so don't expect much for the moment. Would appreciate training battles GC ID: iamtimeless
I have played a bit of SF:IV before on my Xbox360 when i borrowed a copy of a friend. I am looking to get into SF4:AE and will order it soon but probably wont be able to get into it much any time soon because i am currently in the middle of some things. I haven't decided on a main, but i was playing around with Ken and Guile. Not ready to settle on one yet
He doesn't have access to that account anymore so there's no way to change the leadership roles in anyway; if Shoryutofu still has access to his, it would be possible but I see that we've started the move to TAAC. As for the others that have been paying attention that are on Team TouchArcade, feel free to start switching over too. I want to see what happens when I switch mid-tournament... Edit: apparently the only thing that changes is my team name and the EP I earned remains with TouchArcade. I beg to differ. Maybe it's the Bison/Dhalsim matchup, but I have to get into Dhalsim's rhythm and flow that way. Once that's figured out a little bit, then I can start switching the pace of the game and make them adapt to my rhythm. In the matches against Ken|Ken where I'm always aggressive, I end up getting punished and keep getting punished trying to get the life lead back. Edit: On a side note, now we can see exactly who uploaded the replay by scrolling all the way down on the screen (the way it should've been done to begin with). Now, they just need to add a feature to rate replays. Does anyone understand the win percentage? They are all less than 50%... Am I the only one that thinks this doesn't make sense?
Mmmk. Ken is a very effective character, and it would be nice to have someone main him in here. If you're thinking of maining Guile, there are tons of people who could give you tips. If you're thinking of maining Yun, I shall personally tutor you. If you need someone who's easy to play and gets results, main Sagat. If you want someone who is really tough to use, but devastating when you play right, pick Vega/Makoto/C. Viper. Of course, I could go on...
I'm back on TA - i wasn't able to contribute because I started fresh which wiped me from getting any bp / ep / tp / np / PDQ and GDP. Luckily beeline was able to fix the issue (eventually) and now I'm back to ranking up again. My question is simple: What is going on with our teams? We NEED to unite. I don't have the time to read back 5 billion pages, so to sum it up: is our Snooper / Shoryu leadership both totally gone? Personally, I was psyched about us starting TouchArcade the team because it worked as a fantastic magnet to meet new players. I mean come on - how many great folks have we met through that advertising? It's been a boon to this community. I think TA Accent Core, while a fabulous group, lacks the advertising / identity that was so essential. TA could stand for anything. Someone not in the know won't necessarily make the connection to check sigs. If we all move to one active team, I suggest it be one that maintain's a very close and visible name connection to TouchArcade (such as TouchArcade.com or TouchArcade Forums). /thoughts?
Looking at the match, it's probably partly because of lag, and how you played. For example, if you're not in the corner, you should probably teleport out of his normal lunge punch. St. K is the best counter against Yun, so you should use it more. Headstomp is also REALLY effective against Yun. You probably know this, but meh.
Capcom news on the BN says there is a 'usability update' for today...sounds good whatever it is...maybe everyone is updating now...?
That comment was only meant in reference to the Yun matchup. Bison is a whole different beast. I totally agree that they need a rating system (without people being allowed to rate their own replays). As for win percentage, it makes no sense to me.
