First Street Fighter I played was Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition. Was a big Dhalsim fan, that's all I can remember.

I'm 21 and believe me, although I've seen a lot of people playing street fighter, I only started to play this game last year on SF4 for iPhone.

I used to play MK3 and TKOF 98 but never SF.

Wow I've never been so mad at notifications from TapTap 4 than I am now.

Cool glitch in my favor. I won a match against some noob and won a few SP (the ones you use in Wondering Warrior). After the match it said I had an extra 4000 SP. HAHA:D

I'm 22. I've played every iteration of SF. I even had a stint with the Super Turbo back when Arcades actually existed.

Sigh. I do miss the Arcades.

I've seen the original Street Fighter where you get to play Ryu as player 1 and Ken as player 2.

    Yes, I'm very young. :)

Yeah I saw that and even posted it in the old SF4 thread. It was indeed amazing and that's what makes Daigo Daigo. He can just pull those stuffs perfectly at an unexpected time. I mean, most of us can do that during sparring or friendly match, but he can consistently pull magics on the big moments, at the last strip of his health (vs Justin's ChunLi anyone?).

I suppose it's the so called champion's mentality.

ps: If you watch closely, you can see Daigo was baiting him for it.

Holy cr*p!!! How did he do that? I thought cancels are supposed to take half of his Super meter, but why can he still throw a super hadoken??

    he did not FADC
he cancel shoryuken to Shinku Hadouken

it's like this when u do the movement for shoryuken
    when it connects
u immediately input the QCF+P to execute the super combo

the reason it came out is because when u executing shoryuken
the Z movement acted as pre-requisite 1st QCF for the super combo

not sure if my explanation is clear enough

p/s: it's smtg you dont learn by enabling SP assist all the while hence I try to play manually

He did not cancel with focus attack as we would normally do with uppercut + focus attack + cancel into ultra he just uppercuted then just at the moment that it connects right away did the súper that's why he did not lose a meter on the súper bar.

You can try do that on iPhone as well you will see is possible

@kiancheong: Shuryoken can connect to Shinku Hadouken without FADC, but it can only connect to Metsu Hadouken with FADC.

So you quit the game then send them a message calling them a bitch-quitter? Okay.

Regardless, what if they're experts following the maxim 'the first round is data'? :)

With the two pressure pads instead of buttons? I'm so old that was my first Street Fightin' experience - the special moves weren't shown on the cab so it took a few games before I even (accidentally) threw a fireball*...

*You didn't get them in The Way of the Exploding Fist...
