Been wondering lately, does anyone use Guile's Standing kick? I've been trying to use it but not sure if it's good enough.

Uses I've found
-vague antiair. If they jump in quite far away this can hit.
-after a knockdown this can get in and the stepforward is a nice range.

But it seems worse as a sonic boom followup

 

I noticed a couple times by accident that you can follow the standing kick with a sweep. It's a weird timing, but it's possible.

 

I PMd Snooper about the fix but no response yet.

 

Good games. You did well. I definitely had to work for any wins. Your Blanka is pretty serious. I was having trouble with him.

Good games to slrc_91 as well. Solid Guile.

Disappointed in how I played in that set though. There were certain things that I did, that I shouldn't have, and I should've figured out a better strategy for your charges. Gotta improve my Guile match up.

I already tested it, works just when the standing kick is a counter hit.

 

Hey, Nash. I think you already know this, but as a fun fact, Makoto can trade with E.Honda's Headbutt with Fukiage.

Also, Gohadoken - Raging Demon is awesome.

 

With a well-timed Oroshi/EX Oroshi you won't trade.

 

Yo Felix~ yea~ I knew this~ and I have better way~ applied to ex/normal/super headbutt without trade damage

1. As mentioned by Slrc, use oroshi~
2. Stand punch. Can hit all Honda's headbutt, Blanka's ball, Bison phsyco crusher and Ultra(When on crusher motion)
3.Tsurugi can dodge/hit normal/ex headbutt, but will dodge/trade with super.

 

Guys please remind me not to play when im tired! I lost hella matches doing the stupidest shit.
I lost a bunch to redtiger and that guy sucks. Seriously, I've never seen him do a canon spike. He spammed me on wake up with canon drills, how bad do you have to be to fall for that multiple times?

 

i gave up on the tournament..every time i use ryu, the other guy always knows what i'm doing...pfft lol. Also whats this about Team touch arcade? And has anyone used Viper before? Been trying to use her last night and hard to use, any tips?

I hear you. I did the same yesterday...very much often. I couldnt believe it then I continued. I ended up loosing my BPs quite a lot not ganna do it again.

Sorry for replying so late, but QUIT as in quitting after the match or Rage Quit? I may quit after the match but I can assure you I'll never ever Rage Quit. If it truly happen, maybe I got an urgent call came in and I had to pick that up.

Anyway, I don't remember fighting you (I suck at remembering tag), who do you main?

Are you the one who play Yun and Akuma? If so, you have an awesome Yun! You did a lot of combo that I never thought possible.

There is not much good Yun on the network now, so you're pretty easy to remember.
