Hi mates, after switching teams earlier this week, my BN doesn't seems to be updating at all. Any ideas?!
Good game Finix00, long time no match with you.....sorry for just play 2 matches with you (i see you want to continue),coz i have things to do
Good fights Finix... I can't beleive how many times you got me with Akuma ultra... I usually always hit the skull crusher, kept missing today ha Good fights, I didnt realize Bisons reach was so far on the punches in the air... were you just jumping or kicking?
Good games! I hardly ever play Akuma, but I want to play him well desperately!! It's a dilemma of play as him badly for a while and get better or just play as characters I can use at the moment...(Vega Yun Ryu) I don't remember that part What did you do?
0 Felix 0: Just want to say that was a nice beatdown on that Guile hpalma87..I used to try to practice with Yun sometime back but didnt stick around long enough to find anything that was easy for me too pull off. I did not know he had so many juggles as seen in that replay..cool that you can do all that outside of the training room.
Wow all my Grinding for the day was pointless! They just announced it was Chun, Bison and Ryu for this week It says Im in 10th place but does that carry over to when Fei's week comes? Screw it the tournament rules and crap are all unorganized, I dont know whats what. Im playing friendlies for the rest of the week. I do lol @ how Psxsquall is allready at the top of the leaderboard for Bison.
Ok I see now, thats pretty cool after you hit the Event tab theres the buttons for each character thats live for that week. I vote SexiLexi for Chun, scince no one mains her here [for some reason]...and fffan of course. Hmm, I like NYC for Ryu.
My first impression of the tournament is: lame. Seems like you don't need to be the best to win. You only need to have more free time than the best and not be a bad player. I'm not sure, I'm waiting for someone who can tell me if you win the same amount of EPs by winning against different characters. I think mirror matches have to count for more EPs (or if you lose a mirror match, you will lose EPs like the BPs). This last thing brings another problem: ragequit or reject a mirror match. Volt's tournaments are about how much time you spend with the app. Except the replay rally, in the other tournaments the more time you have, the chances are bigger to be the winner. This wasn't too bad, but with the current tournament is just pointless. Capcom won't reward skills, just the free time that a player has.
You are probably out of luck. Most of the people whose profile stopped updating didn't get it working again. I think a couple of peoples profiles was fixed by itself, but I dont know if that had to do with taking a specific action. Just like every tourney so far. Even the replay rally depended on how much time you put in. As long as you kept playing and uploading new games, you got downloads. To be honest, I dont think a real tournament is even possible with all the quitting and disconnecting. Capcom is just trying to keep people interested in the game as long as they can.
I agree. We all know that the best way to reward skills is a direct elimination tournament. But this is mere impossible for Capcom. As I said before in earlier posts, Capcom's intentions are good, but the implementation is just wrong. Or maybe the limitations of an iOS port are just killing the game. Capcom should bring new stuff: characters, customes, stages, exclusive content. Even a store where you can spend those Special Points that you have stacked. All this is better than a fake ranking and tournaments that just reward the free time.
I'm pretty sure I found a fix. To anyone who hasn't tried it, register for the tourney on the French page and then switch back to English. That should do the trick. It seems to have worked for me, Docta, Burnt Identity and probably Ken Ken.
So Im assuming everyone's sitting this tournament out? Hey Apprunner what are some the things you do on your opponents wake up with Cammy. I've been doing crossup cannon spikes and its great but the opponent ecentually catches on.
