Damn... just fought redtiger, and narrowly beat him after a loss. It was pretty awesome, seeing as he didn't RQ on me.

I can. There's 3 tabs there now instead of 2, including a BP ranking tab. There's also a tourney ranking tab.
Ah, the layout is different now. It used to be that BP Ranking was first, then Team Ranking, then Tourney Ranking. I can now access the BP Ranking tab as well now.
Ugh. Tequilalio, a 3500 BP Gief, just rage quit on me (modem plug). Played him at least once before and went 1-1 so it was a surprise. Seemed too obvious to be coincidence. Giefs can absolutely be a tough match for Sim after the update. It's one of the rare spots where I typically have to play intentionally lame.
Why is that? I would think Gief would be easy for Sim. Just curious. I LOVE fighting Gief with Akuma. He can destroy me with literally two moves, but that's if he can catch me. I can usually get them so defensive I can walk right up can throw him. I couldn't imagine doing that as another character. It's not a mutual feeling, though. I rarely get a rematch.
Before the update it was a legit 7-3. I think the nerfs to Sim hurt, but not enough to even out the matchup. It may also just feel closer because most good Giefs have figured out the matchup and use lariats very well. Most of the time against good Giefs I just have to play very meticulously and boring.
Friendlies is also going to hell. 5 games, 4 RQs after the 1st Round!!!! Seriously. Why quit after the first round
I haven't played for 5 days. First ranked match, I get an 1800 BP Ken -- after 3 straight losses, he's now at 2100 BP .. Next match I get a 1100 BP Abel -- I lose that one. Dropped 400BP in a matter of minutes. I didn't think I was that bad. Apparently I am.
Good games. I've always fooled around a little with Honda. Typically I'm a little better with him. I was getting distracted a bit by my wife and looking away for a second against Sakura is deadly. You're impressive to watch when you get the combos going. I've used Balrog a lot lately, maybe for about a month or two. You did a good job forcing me out of my game plan with him.
Lol! I just played a 2200BP player who set the match to 7 rounds, I beat him 4 to 1 before he rage quit...in friendly! Wtf?
Don't worry. Most Abels can be beaten with neutral jumps coupled with jump attacks and occasional sweeps. It's the good ones that you can't use that strategy against.
Japanese Server their Tourney has start.... based on what I see.... it seem like they judge the ranking by the EP you earn .... not sure how they judge the 'BEST of each character'....
It would be cool if they replace "good match" with "best I've played". That way RQs could never get votes.
