Honestly, not lately. Playing you forced me to change my strategy up and learn how to play a lame blanka. Truthfully though, do you enjoy playing against me when I use that strategy? Because for me, if I was in your shoes id be seriously annoyed. But what can I do? If I try anything else you will destroy me.
Truthfully I can only beat you playing super lame which I'd did in the 2 games I was close. You noticed some of the other games I just went reckless because I got bored . I don't mind you taking a strategy to beat me but you'll eventually force a similar gameplay from me and then we'll both be bored But at least I helped you find a winning strategy against other Cammys. bTW, have you found any Cammys better on ranked. I want to see if I can improve through replays.
The only other good cammy I've come up against was snooper. Good cammys are like good yuns and good fies, they are rare. If I do come up against a good one I'll record the match for you. Playing you has definitely helped me with cammy. Thanks! My next challenge is to learn how to play against really good bisons like squall. I've only played him once and he destroyed me.
You and -40 are the only Blankas I have issues with. The others are target practice. But they do tend to attack more
My goal is to be better than -40. How close/far am I? I know that may be hard to guage because we play differently but you can kind of tell if a particular person is a tough match up.
One thin about -40 is that he beats me being offensive. He plays like no other Blanka. Very hard to predict. I think you have a more effective strategy against Cammy though. I don't know how good you guys are against other players though but both of you have very high BPs vs. other Blankas.
I swear it's like I just get on here to rage. These guys are pissing me off, though. Since my account reset, I've lost 8 matches. I'm pretty sure all 8 were against Ken or Ryu, with around 1000bp or less. EVERY DAMN ONE of them stood back and wouldn't get near me. If I stand still, they throw fireballs nonstop. If I approach, they take off and throw more fireballs. Also, EVERY one of them used the same damn technique where they throw two fireballs then wait to see what you do. If you stand still, they throw more, if you counter, they jump towards you. It's the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over every match. The matches are just me chasing them down. The reason they're the only I've lost to is because I get sick of it and screw up. The matches just don't end. Also, they perform random attacks because they have no real skill and I get hit by stupid button mashing attacks. I beat more of them than I lost to, but they're the only ones beating me. It's endless. They just keep coming and the matches never end. I have it set to "more skilled" now, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
And one more thing Players in the 1000-2000 range have insanely annoying habit of jumping over heads. They're not performing crossups, they're just jumping for the sake of jumping and landing behind you. Usually they'll then do something genius like blocking or squatting. If they're really feeling wild, they might jump again. It could be a smart attack or counter... if it involved some type of attack... or counter... or anything, really. Of the people I've fought in that range lately, I bet 9/10 of them do it at least 5 times in one match. The low bp guys do this awe inspiring make-you-crap-your-pants-in-terror move where they jump in and land right in front of you, then... wait for it... squat and do nothing... well, unless you count getting thrown doing something. I'm done raging for tonight.(︶︿︶)
Not sure who you main, but what I do to bored these skill-less people is: 1) Bison - just keep teleporting backwards. Works against all shotos and Sagat if they spam fireball. 2) Akuma - he can match fireballs anytime with tons of more tricks to get close when he wants to. In fact what I enjoy is out fireballing those idiots. You can try downloading a few of my replays (1 vs. Doc Mario Guile) which shows Akuma fireball game. Works specially well against stupid kens; they jump, you uppercut, they fireball, you fireball, and Xbox up with Akumas dB+SP, P to anti-air, and jump backwards and air fireball when they jump towards you. Seriously the replay is VERY FUNNY against some Kens. Repeat I'm not a pro at... Tons of players better here in the forum. Dun get angry, get EvEN!
I saw the next tournament will start 10/02 and will end 03/05 so I think that updates for this game are over
Also, it's getting a bit lonely here. I wish there was another pro Yun player on the forums. You know, share tips and all that.
