I just uploaded a replay against a Ryu. I played pretty poorly, especially in the 2nd round, but I uploaded it because of the 3rd round. We both threw out a super at the exact same time while standing face to face. I've played a ton of matches with Sim and other characters but don't think I've ever seen it before. And on top of that, Ryu's went right through me. I never really thought of Sim's super as having invincibility frames since it's so rare that it would come into play (countering jump attacks are really the extent of it), but it apparently does. Haha! GGs Squall kicked my ass before I played you! His Sagat beat me 4/5 -_- I think you can do better at the forward dash mix-ups. Reserve your meter for EX dash punch but you got predictable with the dash forward --> grab keep an eye out!
haha! I'll watch them! I played against YY's Viper! My Sim always comes close but fall short at the end... He won me 3 straight sets a few days ago with 2 round3's won me by just a tick of pixel urgh! frustrating but fun! I wish saved them all.
That's ashame. You and Squalls Sim are the two best. Different styles though. Better get that account in order so you can show everyone how Sim's played.
Just saw the Berserk vs YYOJJO replay and he was losing the last round until that nasty nasty uppercut-high kick- ultra combo. That thing does 50% damage and seems rediculously easy to connect. I think Sagat has to be the best character just because of that combo. M
Dashing worked at one point, but I can't seem to pull it off anymore. focus-dash works much better. And ah yes, I think I was missing the timing to throw the SB right after the dash completion. Good stuff. Such useless impractical tricks

Haha. I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't use Ryu so I was wondering if maybe his recovery from fireballs is more than other characters. With Sim, I'm pretty sure I've been able to block that same scenario. Sorry I ended up having to leave. By that last match my two year old was walking on my stomach, although I think that may have actually helped my sorry Ryu. Anyway, good games man! I liked seeing some of your other characters. You play Balrog a lot these days don't you?
HAHAHAHAHA! DAMN dude! Those are the kinds of combos I'm trying get happening for this potential combo video I might do! Yes, welcome Vaceotyn! It's mainly because of the input buffering. There's a huge margin of error with directions in this game. Sometimes you can really use it to your advantage, but sometimes it messes things up too.
You can BEAST on the French server cuz it seems like NO ONE plays on it. But I'm thinking about doing the same thing. I just emailed Capcom again, but if this doesn't get sorted out, I'll go French!
