I just fought a 2.7k bp Ken on friendly and I was using FeiLong. Sorry for quitting I couldn't stand the lag.
Would be an interesting challenge. By the way... How to decide the winner team for KoH? Do you need the most team win streak total in a certain time or reach a certain number of team win streaks total?
I try not to chip people out. But Ultra'ing me with Viper when I have 0 hp and I'm guile? That was really close...
Hehe. That was funny. I'm having fun with Viiper but she's hard to use. She's not there with my Cammy yet
So I was playing around in friendlies and for fun I decided I would go Ryu, I ran into this Blanka player names BooBoo9Phong. I played the match up the way it should be played I used fireball pressure out of slide distance and when he had meter I baited his ex Blanka Balls and punished them on reaction with a SRK because he was that predictable. I won and he rematched me so I picked Ryu again and he managed to barely get the win so I rematched him but he win quits, that's fine I didn't really care. So I join another friendly and my screen starts to freeze and I see he sent me a message. "Good games man, even though you spammed the whole time, learn not to care about winning so much." ... I messaged him back, saying zoning is not spamming and that I rematched when I lost, and he was the one who win quit. Out of curiosity I checked his card and he has 5 ranked drops out of 20 and around 1000 bp which means in theory he has quit every ranked match he has lost. He eventually messaged me back again about spamming and I just excepted his friend request and tried to challenge him and he denied and blocked me... smh
I've run into giefs irl at arcade that complain about getting 'zoned.' What else do you expect when you play a character like that?
Is there a time limit? I thought this would be ongoing for as long as possible. The longest win streak for each team is just an added bonus stat thrown in there.
Stuff like that used to annoy me but then I just realised thats just how some people are. I think it just comes down to 2 different personality types. Me personally if a Sagat is fireballing as fast as his fingers will let him or an akuma is running away or a Ryu jumping/walking backwards all game. Im like they're just doing shit that Sagats/Akumas/Ryus sometimes do, what can I do to counter that? I never think to myself its spam I just think that's their playstyle how can I deal with it. Then you have people who whine and complain about it but I think thats just how they are, they probably whine and complain about everything in life. The kind of guy where nothing is ever their fault, and somebody else is always somehow to blame for their lameness. When things dont go their way in life they get salty and make up scenarios in their head where the other person is lame or a hater or other such nonsense, its never them. Thats just how they are, these are the same kind of guys who live shitty lives, nobody really likes them and their girlfriends cheat on them. I think if you whine about another players playstyle you are a bitch. Learn to counter what they are doing, counter pick another character, or exit after the match and play somebody else. Simple. If you are a stand up guy you are a stand up guy and that comes through in everything you do, and if you are a bitch you are a bitch and that comes through in everything you do....including things as small as playing streetfighter. That guy was a bitch.
I watched the replay again. It's really sick. Including when I decided to walk into your Ultra after I blocked it
I used to love arcades when I lived in SoCal (Burbank) and there was one guy who would always whine that I blocked too much! No joke. MvC.
Anyone up for some friendlies or KOH (as a challenger)? Edit: Personally, I would like to stop using Sagat because of all the negative attention, however it's hard to lose with him at times. This character makes it easy for almost every matchup, sadly. I think I'll either perfect Fei Long or return to Ken.
Well, had a crappy night, in a way. Lost like 3 in ranked. Fought a Viper, won, lost, and won but they DC'd the 3rd one so okay. All was redeemed when I defeated the 5000 BP Sagat player Fack Off. Amazingly garbage Sagat. Utilized skills that only players in 1000 BPs could think of to perfection. Also, I've noticed that he's maximized his awareness by knowing when the match is over for him, well in advance by the way, and is quick to use the Home button in a quick manner. True professional ragequitter to the fullest. Someone sponsor and send this man to EVO 2k12!
Half the fun of using a lower tier character is beating on a higher tier character. Would love to see their faces . I bet Nash illicits the best responses. How the eff did that Makoto beat the crap out of me
