I don't think it was so much of Smith's fault as it was William's. It was his knee that touched the punt return handing the ball back to the Giants that led to their touchdown, right? Then on OT, he fumbles the punt return once again...
No worries wediafom, we'll get the next one. We are quite at a disadvantage given the majority of top teams have an immense member count compared to our 17. Anyways, just played exciting matches with dargonplay, however he d/c on me in game 7 when I TKO'd him in the third round wom wom wom
Agreed, Williams' carelessness created the fumble but the overall blame goes to The douch Alex Smith, who threw the ball like a girl I want to see him out for the next season Eventhough the giants beat us, I will be rooting for them. Screw the NE Patriots Yeah what a letdown man, the whole family, friends were excited, but oh well, next year About the Dragonplay, never played him bwfore. What was his BP?
After fighting-40 and IVwshane so much, I've been on a complete tear of Blankas. Made the last one quit with a 7 hit combo series . Not even mad. That combo would've made me rage quit
I have but it's another game I really need to give more of a chance. Maybe I should put down Third Strike for a bit and play all these obscure fighters I've collected in MAME... KoF-I would be utterly incredible if it had online. The graphics and controls are absolutely sick! My only thing about a SamSho port would be that theyd have to change up the control scheme. I suppose if they made one with two slash buttons, kick, and Special that could work though. I'd love a SS game on iOS! Good gamE!
He probably tried to do an anti-air grab. That registers as a "hit" and knocks you back but does no damage.
What country/time zone is everyone in? I'm in Australia (GMT +10). Seems like you guys are all asleep around now so I don't have much chance for some good matches
Yes! I don't play that much, but now I'm trying to get into the game. So I'd appreciate any tips. Thanks
I played an entire day of friendlies yesterday and surprisingly only ran into two of you guy, I really wanted to learn Viper but God is she a pain to play as. Snooper it was fun playing you, not quite sure what happened on the last match but it was fun getting my ass handed to me by you. This may just be me but the only time I did not have fun was when you mirror matched me I wasn't sure if you were trying to show me up or just wanted to play her because I was but either way it was kinda like "Ok Snoop I get it your better then me I'm just trying to have fun and learn her." maybe I was just extra salty. DROQQA I had never got to play your Sakura before but all I can say is wow, you easily have the best Sakura I have played. That comeback you made in that last match blew me away all it takes is one or two bad guesses on my behalf and it's all over I hope you saved that replay cause it was awesome as hell. Question to anyone on here who has always had a single main and started training a secondary, is it really hard for you not to bust out your main when on a losing streak? For example as Viper I played a 0 bp ken who SRK'd all day long and won because of it I just couldn't punish it in time before another one started up, he re-matched me and I wanted to go Fei because I knew I would have annihilated him but had to talk myself into sticking with Viper to get some experience under my belt I was just wondering if this is fairly common or do I just have a hard time losing? Lastly Viper's Cr MP, Fient, Cr MP, Thunder Knuckle= best combo in the game it's so gratifying to land in a match it does so much damage and stun!
Really good question. If I lose because of something I did wrong, I generally stay as the char I am trying to learn. If I feel I was cheated by the controls (along the lines of "I ultra'd! Why was my guy just standing there?!"), then I usually get salty and switch back to Blanka. I do this pretty much against the whole cast except Cammys. Sometimes I switch back to Blanka if I think I can make them ragequit (generally if they have something stupid in their comment).
Good games, Volo - I wanted to play more, but I was really sleepy. I ran 8.5 miles yesterday. Thanks for the Sakura compliment. I still need to improve my execution - there are times when I'll catch people with a neutral jump k, but I'll just follow with a sweep, when I should be following with st. p into a mixup. I'm pretty happy with how I play her when she gets rolling - but I need to work on my footsies. Your Fei is really improved too! Great rushdown game, your corner pressure was on point. I did save that replay, I'll upload it now. Quick Viper tip. I really have no idea how to play her, but I know her focus attack sucks ass. She's not Fei Long. And finally, yes, when I learn a new character and lose to some total scrub, I will switch back to Sagat and body them just to prove a point. EDIT: Oh and I learned something playing you. On my wakeup, Fei Long's tenshin grab beats out a throw attempt. I just confirmed in training mode. In that second round when you tenshin'ed me 3x in a row, I was going for throw every time.
Don't give up and stick with the character you wanna learn on~ so you will gain more experience for it~ I used to main Dhalsim, when I switch to Makoto, I really had a hard time during the initial stage~ a character with no projectile and upper cut.. but I still chose to stick if her and figure out her play style~ and now she become my main.
Yea man her focus is horrible and my Vip in general is pretty horrible which is why I changed out first round. I'm trying to train myself not to use focus attacks as much with her but it's tough to just completely change your play style, a lot of times I use focus attack just to bait out moves and keep people afraid of getting too greedy this works well for Fei and even in AE Seths Focus is awesome but I was spacing focus attacks like I was playing Fei and just eating damage because of it. It's gonna be a long road learning her but I am having fun learining even when I lose with her. I'd love to play your Sakura again sometime lets do some friendlies at some point.
I just saw a couple of Guile replays. God, too boring. Specially the ones that belongs to our favorite cop. I think his strategy consist in to sleep the opponent... I hope my matches are not that boring. In that case I failed soooo bad.
