Haha I ran into him too! I perfect him first round, he quit in middle of second. We got matched again, I beat him and he rage quit so I messaged him and said haha my streaks still going, bitch.

I could tell by his "win streak bitch" that he was gonna rage quit if I won lol

Do you find that certain characters tend to avoid you more than others? Akumas are the worst. Only half of them are willing to even play me

Don't forget your BP also plays a role in how they perceive you. I would be scared if I was going to fight a 4000 BP  (not that I would be scared), but that is the general trend anyways. Do you get what I am saying?

That's true. Seems like I have to drop some matches to low my BP.

There are certain matchups I avoid. As guile, I hate playing against the mirror, Blanka and Giefs.

The mirror is really tedious, Blanks have more options than you (especially since sonic boom got nerfed!) and Giefs are all really spammy and you can lose because of literally, one frame when it lags and your combo string isn't airtight

I actually used to do that back in the day:p now that I have the confidence  and indifference to my precious BPs, I stay and fight on :D

Wediafom. I just passed your TP count if you combine my accounts. :). Better get cracking as we need more points :D

Also, you have a lot more to gain if you fight a much higher BP fighter. Perhaps people think you are an automatic RQuitter if you have 4k+ BP :(

    question

I have seen a couple cool moves on replay where a Ryu throws a fireball at another character. The second character then focus thru the fireball and then hits Ryu. Whats the input sequence for that? Lets take for example Geif vs. Ryu.

Also whats the inputs for canceling a move and/or focus?

    Thanks,
    Pete

Game on then:p we are ranked #10 and we have less than 24 hours to climb the rank. Add to that, tomorrow is 49ers game against the giants:confused: I will fetch atleast 50 TPs before I go to bed then:rolleyes:

Yeah but most players think higher BP players will just perfect them or something but like you said, they have nothing or less to lose:)

Hold focus, then press forward after you absorb the fireball and spd them. To cancel a focus you just press left or right to dah out of it. To cancel a special or normal move press focus after you do it and then left or right to dash out of it. Not all moves can be focus canceled (fadc) though, general rule is if you can cancel it into super you can fadc it, but there are exceptions.

I really dont like people who do that to be honest, if you hve bad matchups learn them or counter pick, just avoiding them because you dont like them is really lame. And sonic boom got nerfed?? What happened to it?

If you're thinking about the Ryu-Honda match up ..

you would hold focus just before the fireball hits you.
the moment after the fireball hits you, tap "towards".
    then do a standing kick.

that will allow you to focus "through" a fireball and get ryu, as standing kick is honda's longest reaching weapon.

Latest update increased recovery on sonic boom. Compare it to normal SF4 and you'll see the difference.

Well, I only do it in ranked. I'm happy to practice bad matchups (like Cody v Sagat) and lose to good players, but they are matchups I actively dislike playing too.

TenOnez. Great games. Your Yun is solid. Next time, can you play a little Balrog with me. I'd love to get my butt whooped :D

Is tetsuzanko shoulder? because yuns lights shoulder is kind of needed for combos into super and safe chip. Pretty sure chuns fireball is lp already. And ryus lp dp trades way more often. Not really sure about the others. Yun should have jumping medium kick, standing medium punch (and tc4) instead of st lp and the tc it starts, and lk upkicks imo.

Am I the only person who thinks that Dirty Bull would actually be good in Volt?
