Good games. I had just woken up and was getting my morning fix. I've started fiddling around with Fei because he's so different from Sim. The matches were a little frustrating because my reflexes were still a little groggy but you played very well. I think we played a long time ago and, if I remember correctly, you've definitely improved. Thanks for the 10-set. It was a nice change from these typical 1-and-done players
DeltaRedV. I played a few more Sagats this morning and found my general strategy against them. If they are very defensive, then yes, I go for throws and try to mix it up. If they are aggressive, you want to be close as they tend to want to knee vs. throw. Close range knees are punishable by punch-uppercut combo or punch uppercut-fadc-uppercut combo. You can get close by either jumping in (risky) or safe spiral arrow. A good dash forward sometimes works but is also risky. Read Snoopers guide to Cammy and learn the wakeup cross-up with divekick. I usually get about 30% of their hp removed using some wakeup combos. All this goes out the window though when you play someone like Squall. He's just better than everyone Unfortunately, you've picked a pretty mid-tier character so you have a tough road ahead
Ouch FFFan, I really thought I'd be able to stand toe to toe with you but your Bison is unstoppable. That focus crumple late punch crusher cross up caught me off guard so many times, I changed my play style 3 matches in and I think it caught you off guard but you adjusted by the next match and went back to destroying me. I gotta step up my game, good games man!
Your Fei Long has changed so much from what I remember back in the days. I don't think we've played each other since the tournament? I think I only hit you once with that cross up combo. I wasn't sure if I trained you to block backwards because earlier in that match, I delayed the crusher so you would hold back and blocked it. I'm pretty sure your flame kick can counter the cross up; all the other srk are able to punish it. Either that or they just let auto block do the work for them. Your rush down game caught me way off guard. I had no idea what to do except to teleport away. The replay of you owning me is up if you don't mind.
Yea man, I didn't save any replays I was in the heat of it I just wanted to get to that rematch. On another note I uploaded a video of me vs a random Cammy and I didn't upload this because I thought it was a good match but actually because this Cammy was exceptionally horrible like the worst I have ever played and figured Snooper and AppRunner would get a kick out of it. Also put up a few more matches of me vs. YYOJJO's amazing Viper we played a 3 set and I managed to take one match out of three. As a personal accomplishment I put up my one win against Squall's Sagat as well but I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't by pure luck that I won.
I saw the replay. The person forgot there are other virtual buttons besides SP. YYOJJO's Viper is a beast.
unless they were experiencing some lag, and they're blaming it on you actively creating it with the home button. the home button will momentarily pause the game (rather than disconnect), so that could definitely mess up ppl's timing on combos .. oo tactic

Yeah, that definitely wasn't the case. If I cheated it was by magically foreseeing his predictable Ken/Ryu spam and punishing him for it.
Sorry for the late reply. My play time in Volt varies. Some days I do a couple of hours and sometimes I do about an hour or so. I really just try out characters at times through friendly matches with Rog being my main, Fei being my secondary, and Cody being my tertiary character. Everyone else is just there. Fei was the easiest for me transition to though since I've mained him since SF4 to AE. Cody is just there.
Ahh, so you play a lot of AE too. I've always played street fighter but only for fun. If I had to rate myself in terms of BP for non iPhone SF it would be about 1000.
