He replied to me with the same "nerd kid" stuff and some uninspired mom jokes. He's such a dumbass. Edit: He also googled me and said I'm "nerd" because I went to art school. Oh golly.
Haha so true about the Ken thing, although I knew you wouldn't dp all day but that in turn left the mystery of what you would do. I will admit I was alittle curious when you busted out Balrog we will have to run that back on a better connection.
Just played a really good chun called jinx215 (i think), never played a chun as good as his. In the last game i played honda and he tried to punish an ex headbutt with chuns ultra (which is really quick), i thought i was gonna get hit, but no. Man that thing is so good, so much invincibility and so safe.
Good games, PeteZ. Man your Honda is tricky, I thought I could get away from your butt slam / command throw mixups by dashing back, then you started to catch me with headbutts and even a Super that once. Good stuff.
Good stuff man. Great use of focus. Wasn't expecting them back to back. Fei is one of those rare chars (viper) I rarely practice on. One of these days I'll get the balls to fight ur cammy! Till then I'll just live with the nightmare.
Yeah after I beat him once i sent him a message saying more like no.1 quitter, he told me to go do some inappropriate things with assorted farm and domestic animals.
Gonna try something here. http://us3.chatzy.com/98226594264963 Hop on in, live chat. Not as great as an IRC, but it's web-based and keeps some history. No sign-up required, just supply name, and join the room. Other alternative chat rooms are welcome.
Really? Maybe bison-chun is a really bad match for chun then, no offense but he gave my cammy more trouble than you gave my sagat. I think it was 5-2 to me in the end but they were all pretty close games.
So... I just wanted to know if I'm playing Abel well. Here's my strategy: -Do a safe jump or two to see what my opponent will do. -If I land a Step Kick, backdash immediately to gauge what my opponent will do after I land one (block or hit). -Falling Sky at far range to build meter. -I don't use EX Roll; too unreliable for me. -If I think an opponent is going to jump backwards or forwards out of my reach, I EX Falling Sky, or EX/Wheel Kick. -If I have a good amount of revenge saved up, use it after landing a Focus Attack (not sure if this is good or not against projectile users), or if I think I'm reading my opponent correctly. -Tornado Throw or EX Tornado Throw if my opponent gets a bit too close for comfort. -If I land a Change of Direction, keep on going if my opponent is an uppercut spammer. If not, occasionally stop on first hit and EX Tornado Throw (EX for safety; Tornado Throw is really reliable, but not completely reliable). -Try to land a Jumping Hard Punch whenever I can, so I can combo into Elbow easily. If my opponent is near the corner, or I'm driving them there, Wheel Kick. If not, Falling Sky. EX Falling Sky would only be used to get that extra bit of damage on them; although I'm sure that I could out-power that with EX Wheel Kick. -If opponent blocks Change of Direction, continue on to 2nd Mid in the hopes of getting a lucky shot on crouching opponents. Other times, I might FADC forward in hopes of disorienting them and do a successful Tornado Throw. If they don't like how close I am (who would when I'm playing a Grappler? Except Zangief) and attempt to jump back, I'll Falling Sky in hopes of catching them. -Never Wheel Kick on opponent's wake-up if they have an uppercut or are Zangief. -If I have the match, and am about to take down my opponent after an Elbow, I'll EX Falling Sky/EX Wheel Kick for stylin' points.
What I was trying to say was as I am a bison beginner, I should have been a piece of cake to him. I have seen better Chun's before....
Fair enough. I hate to admit it but that gun rose cigarette guy was probably better than him, even if he did ragequit.
Things I want for Sagat: Tiger Knee recovery increased on block Angry Scar Light Tiger Uppercut (am I the only one who wants the light versions of the uppercut moves?) Viable punch moves (Cr. LP is fine. Not St. HP or Cr. HP though.) Light Tiger Shot (Hard Low Tiger Shot would work in tandem with it, I bet. Sort of.)
