On paper it sounds good, but in practice I'll have to agree with Graymalkin where there's will be PLENTY of thumbs down compared to thumbs up. What I would like CAPCOM to implement is to add a filter of % drop rates when searching for games and/or include their % drop rate on the screen when you first see who you are facing against where they show the BP, W/L, and their comment.
Ya, but sometimes rate drops may be not a good indication of ragequitting. I am guilty of frequent disconnects becoz of my slow internet connection which is not helped by the fact with GF using ipad / computer / BOTH to stream movies at the same time... ARGH... Maybe its a good idea to "group" players by their % drop, and let them play versus with the SAME group... let them enjoy their 200 wins/10 loss ratio together... hahaha...
if anyone can help me, i would appreciate it very much ! how do i do cammy`s 5 and 7 combos, i tried both like 50 times, but i just can`t pull it off
I have bought the game because it's a good game, but with something more it would have been fantastic. The backgrounds are horrible, there aren't finals and the bonus stage and cutscene for the rival match(only akuma). Look at the 3ds version and compare with iphone version!
How much is the 3DS version on day 1? $50? And how much is the iPhone version on day 1? Oh right, #0.99. Now to be fair, let's compare the normal price: 3DS version = $35 iOS version = $7 A simple math tells me the iOS version is one fifth of the 3DS price, but of course you want the whole package 3DS version for $0.99 right? Why not expect the arcade version on your mobile phone for free? Remember iPhone is a convergence device, not dedicated gaming platform. And remember how much you paid for it. It's not rocket science. ps: If you love the 3DS version so much, why not just buy that version? Case solved.
For Combo 5, you have to really delay the medium kick after the heavy punch (~0.5 secs), then it's all about just kicking quick and QCF + S. For Combo 7, the hardest part for me seemed to land the standing heavy punch... There's 2 sections to this that you should practice since I don't know what hit you're struggling with. If it's the Cannon Spike -> FADC -> Cannon Spike, just practice that. After FADC, you should not be walking forward or else the second Cannon Spike will not hit, and you have to wait for the target to float a little back down before launching it. Practice this one first since you won't want to mess up here after hitting the ever so elusive heavy punch. The other part is just practicing the Cannon Strike to standing heavy punch. The best way I did it was to jump and wait until the last moment before hitting the ground to launch the Cannon Strike and spam P hoping that it landed. So, pretty much Combo 7 is all about landing the heavy punch connector.
iphone is a convergence device that costs 599$ and it's more powerful than a 3ds.And it's like ipod touch that is a consolle so i don't wanna heard comments like yours because you're not right! If the game was like 3ds version I payed for it 30$! iphone is a consolle, look at ea games like fifa and dead space, it's not a simple phone as you say!
Yes it's hard at first, but if you examine closely Sagat also has the longest recovery time of any fireball caster, thus the easiest to land a jump kick/punch, maybe because his arms stay outstretched too long. He is also the easiest character to hit because he's so tall. You just have to practice anticipating his fireballs, it's not unlike those 2D platformer games where you dodge projectile traps.
Seconded. I'm this *squeezes finger and thumb together* close to just giving up on the online game (which, given The King of Fighters i-002 is out, might mean giving up on iPhone Street Fighter IV Volt altogether... I swear to the Gods that the hardest thing to consistently do in this game, online, with the touch-screen joystick, is jump forward over fireballs. Really. I get it wrong so often. What can possibly be wrong with me?!?
Help please! Anyone have any tips for beating zangief he's really giving me a hard time. Particularly when he grab you & does The wrestler thing. Thanks for any help
Just stay away from him and poke him from a distance. If you try anything risky like a jump-in then you'll probably end up on the recieving end of a lariat. Be careful with projectiles because he can either absorb them with his banishing fist or lariat through them. Try and stay just about out of distance of his banishing fist, so you can counter appropriately when he uses it. Characters like Chun-li do well against him because of her insanely long range kick. Hope this helps.
Duck under the high Tiger shots, jump over the low ones and get in close enough to use a foot sweep. Sagat's only really dangerous when you're far away. Just remember that he may try to Tiger Uppercut once you get in close, so be ready to block and retaliate.
