I don't think you understand how lag works then. The lag wasn't bad but it was bad enough for me to miss time my counters (like the ultra I did as you are coming down from a jump). Don't get me wrong, you won fair and square but there is a reason I only went two matches with you and it wasn't because you beat me (I've gone 10 matches against tenonez and lost all if them) so losing wasn't the issue. Hell we might play again and you may kill me then too but the last two matches weren't good for me because if the kag.
Haha, I noticed that. I loose a lot of BPs mostly at night and get it back in the morning before I go to school please keep it up, we need those TPs. I have removed Nonname and we have two other new players but I want to see if they are from TA. 0-Felix-, don't worry about it, I know your problem and you're from TA after all

I've dipped below 1000BP. Awful awful stuff. I start playing too loose/reckless, start changing characters for kicks, and start having too much fun. =(
"windom-earle" is a 5300bp rage quitter. He has the skills of somebody with about 1000bp. I think a lot of us have seen this before: Frozen action just before winning: Then, what do ya' know: We've all been there. I once dropped around 2000bp in one day.

I'm with ya man, I had to stop myself today and recognize I was having a bad day after loosing to random Akumas and Guiles which are two of my easiest match ups. I dropped to 2800 down from 3300. It happens I believe more so when you play characters that are uncommon ones (Makoto, Fei, Cammy, Yun) not to discredit skilled players who use common characters but characters like Sagat, Ryu, and Akuma were built to handle all matchups fairly evenly with few or no really bad matchups. Just gotta take your losses as they come I guess.
I just hate Sagat so much. I respect squall2002, because he's just using the tools Capcom gave him in this game to the best of his abilities, but I cannot respect Sagat in this game. Good games by the way. Everytime I see a Sagat, I know I'm in for a BS ride. It's ridiculous. An uppercut that has invincible start up (Which other characters have as well, I understand), Tiger Knee which gives him armor break and puts you in enough block stun for him be ready to attack or defend, a crouching kick which builds meter and comes out fast enough to keep his meter building and for your character to be in block stun long enough for him to recover just as fast, an ultra that will do massive damage even if it taps you because Sagat will sit there and wait for your character to come down to put all of his uppercut into you and then put you across the screen with a throw that can do the same thing. He just has the best tools in this game for about every situation. I just do not respect this character. I won't. I don't care if Mago appeared came through my window and asked for a match, I still won't respect this character. He's just BS all around. All I can do is do what I can in this match up.
Yep. Some nerfing is long overdue. This doesn't even get into his Kara-Uppercut and Kara-Knees. 50% damage full ultra is too much, esp with projectile invincibility and anti-air usage.
Personally, I'd be scared if Mago came in through the window. I wouldn't respect him or Sagat for that. But I do understand your points. I want Tiger Knee to be nerfed just a wee bit more, but I guess that's too much to hope for.
And the High Step Kick allows him to get one in without an FADC. And he can do 488 damage with an EX Low/Tiger Shot in the corner. And he can do a 566 damage combo with EX Tiger Uppercut. In fact, landing an EX Tiger Uppercut, Ultra is better than Tiger Uppercut, FADC, High Step Kick, Ultra - sort of.
I've gotten in a habit of attempting to toss after a two-hit blocked Tiger Knee. Does a Tiger Uppercut after a two-hit blocked Tiger Knee beat a toss attempt? Ok just went into the lab. I think the Tiger Uppercut used to beat toss, but the update has fixed that. Toss seems to work.
Yeah, it's not safe if it's a two-hit. Otherwise, Sagat's perfectly safe and can tend to his garden while beating you up.
Yeah the thing that annoys me about sagat is he has a handfull of even matchups (arguable, but I think viper, bison and akuma) and he straight out beats everyone else. At least with other top tier characters like zangief and guile, they have bad matchups but with sagat it just seems like nobody is really a threat to him. Id like to see damage nerfs on his most commonly used moves (tiger knee, low kick, standing kick, tiger uppercut), more recovery on low kick and not getting the full ultra after uppercut fadc step kick in the corner like on consoles. Even after that hed still probably be top tier but nowhere near as ridiculous.
Most of the 3000 level players are good and legit. They are willing to take losses and lose a lot of BP. You are right though in that most of the really high BP players are Sagats, Ryus, and Guiles. They have less bad matchups.
Ironically I get most of my BP from Sagats. Seems like you can be a bad Sagat and still get 2000BP. Easy pickings.
