Pretty much. It can be really hard to know which way to block after ibuki knocks you down, but with auto block you can just stand there. Edit: Iceage is one of the best balrogs in japan, but its still tricky for him to block solid ibuki mixups. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Just bodied a 2300bp Fei Long named BUNNA1 - almost perfected him in round 3 and he rage quit on me. The only reason I'm mad is I wanted to upload the replay.
SHANEPITTS is a 3300+bp rage quitting Ryu. He apparently doesn't like it when he (predictably) tries to bait you into an ultra and you KO him with a crossover instead. It makes him cry.
A good third of my fights are RQ now. Makes me smile when they quit like that. The only time I get pissed off is if they win the first match and RQ on the second. That's low.

I think Dhalsim gets away with vortexing doesnt he? I suppose its ok for him though scince its not used as much..
You mean the yoga fire-air teleport left/right mixup? If you dont move then auto block will do all the work for you.
That's weird. I fought him earlier today, in a set of 5,but he didn't ragequit at all on me. Hm.. Didn't see that coming. You must've really given him no options at all to make him do that. Haha. Good stuff.
Yeah that, a [good] player usually wont use it much, so it has an element of surprise...a chance the opponent will attack by accidient, and at least getting hit by the follow up. Maybe a long shot for Ibuki still..

Vortexing still works to some extent, for example with akuma you can do a crossup so that uppercuts will whiff, empty jump throw, demon flip-divekick, whatever. Its just nowhere near as good with auto block. Akuma still has good keepaway and footsies but ibuki doesnt (her footsies arent bad, not the best though). I think she would be low tier, so Id much rather see adon, seth, yang or even rose, who I think have a better chance of being top tier characters in volt. You never know though, at first I thought viper was terrible because of auto block, but shes really, really good.
