Nope. It's possible via SP. I'll upload the replay. I was so hyped after getting the ultra done that I didn't really care how badly I got bodied that first round. Notice the combo count at the end of the first round when I do the ultra - 5 hits.
So ive spent about 150 hours playing volt now, jesus. Now my 3rd most played game ever Monster hunter tri-about 600 hours Oblivion-about 350 hours Volt-150 Im taking a break for a bit until theres a new update
some people i met in ranked match like troll when they get lag they just quit and send me a hate mail like "u slut wifi #### u"...
Final Fantasy 7: 99 hours 99 minutes (it stopped counting after that). Oblivion: 300ish hours. Starcraft Brood War: Over 1000 hours, easy. World of Warcraft: ....336 days for main char (not counting alternates). WELL over 1 full year of playtime when all characters are added up. Ask me if I regret it. Go ahead. Ask.
Yea, Honda's not a problem anymore, I think it's 6-4 Bison now. Looking at all the characters, the ones that stand out to be the most problematic are (in no particular order): Blanka, Guile, Sagat, and Cammy. All the other characters are manageable to face against. I don't really know how the match up with Sagat is post update. I'll need to face off against squall2002 to compare and see if I go 3-17 again haha. Blanka solely because of his short jump that causes reset on the charge and his jumping punch is just a nightmare when he's jumping over Bison constantly. Guile because of his jump height. Most of the corner pressure with headstomping is gone because of it (not that it's necessary, but it's one less weapon that they need to worry about). His flash kick/cr.fierce can counter the headstomp or devil's reverse. Cammy's amazing AA keeps Bison grounded and from there on, it's a much tougher game. Do you regret it??
Wait, when you say 1 year of playtime do you mean 8760 hours? That is a whole nother level. Im glad I never got into wow, i probably wouldve failed my SC :S
Yeah cammys uppercut is probably the best anti-air wise. Whenever i use shotos in friendlies I always whiff uppercuts because im so used to the range of cammys. Plus it has about 200 active frames
Do I regret it? No way. And yes, that's 1 year comprised entirely of active hours. Now, some of those may be hours idle while I'm cooking ramen in my dorm and the game is running, etc, but I assure you the majority of those were with me in front of the comp, playing. 16 hours of WoW, 3 hours of classes, 5 hours of sleep. Stacks up fast. Various world-first kills, amazing massive pvp battles, game-breaking exploration glitches, etc. Got banned more than once, but hey, stuff like this makes it worth it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsDVqS-9Ygc
Not gonna lie, I have no idea whats going on there. And 5 hours of sleep, how? But my volt playtime these holidays has gone from about 3 hours a day to 2 hours total in these last 2 weeks.
Trying to get the SP Assist Off achievement. Proud of myself for winning 7/10 flailing like a headless chicken . Without SP assist, I'm definitely a 500 BP player
Not true - with heroin, most of the users still get some, if you know what I mean. I had to put that on hold while WoW had my soul. Lost my girlfriend. Gained a guild.
Dear Volt players, Guile is the lamest ####ing character ever. Hold down and mash SP HERP DERP. That is all. Sincerely, DROQQA
Having trouble? This morning I kept losing to a Bison that would just jump kick, standing kick, standing kick...occasional knee press or head stomp. I could not figure out what to do..I lost 3 matches in a row that way.
I found it easy enough by using charge characters like Honda, etc. His moves don't take much heavy lifting. And friendlies count too for what it's worth.
I still lose to lame Bisons as well. He's a tough matchup for Dhalsim but I really don't have much of an excuse losing to some of these schmucks. To some extent, I think I use matchups against weaker players sort of as friendlies to try out different moves and strategies. But that doesn't work so well against, for example, SRK . . . SRK . . . SRK . . . SRK . . . SRK . . . SRK . . . rinse, repeat. I also tend to treat the second round this way if I win the first round. It's a really bad habit.
I think you'll find the answer to the bolded strategy in the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uZWArSOmCc
