Some loser spammer just ragequit on me after I taught him some lessons using Ken. I did it without letting off any fireballs of my own, of course. :)

I checked his Card, and it shows 0 disconnects in the past 20 games. How is this possible?

There's a tool called iPhone Explorer that lets you copy files out of the device, without jailbreaking, of course. I wrote a little about it here: http://www.onemoretap.com/2011/04/01/iphone-explorer-gem-tool/

If I'm not mistaken, the replay files are named "repData00#.rpd" where # represents a number from 1 to 10.

  3. Every data recorded like ranked drop rate, win streak, total wins ... etc can be easily edited .

That is to say that the Card gets downloaded onto my device before the match begins, and it never gets updated again once the said match ends?

  5. Yea I believe unless you happen to play him again .

It shows his record BEFORE you fought him. So after he ragequitted on you, he must go 20 more fights without quitting to 'clean' his card.

Only for the jailbreakers I suppose? After seeing most of the players' cards I played against, I can safely guess there are not many who edit their cards.

Alright, thanks for the tips. And that's a great achievement list you have for SF IV Volt :)

  8. Quote above says it all , you can edit even if not jailbroken . Yea I'm just saying changing data is a possibility for getting that 'you have been disconnected' message if the recorded drop rate is 0 .

Thanks this game is great , that's why I actually bother with achievements for it lol .

Guys, I beat Akuma twice, once with Ken once with Blanka.. How come he's still not a selectable character? What are the conditions to unlock him?

You have to beat Akuma on normal difficulty or above, set to 3 rounds or above, using no continues (including the ridiculously hard fight against Akuma) with every single character to unlock him.
Fighting 100 online matches is simpler if you ask me.

I want to absolutely love this game. When it works, I can't stop playing. But I am so annoyed with losing my connection (still have 0 ranked drops though). I've never had connection problems in any other game and am on an iPhone with 3g AND wifi. How the hell do I lose connection? My record is taking a beating because it's coincidently happened a lot more when I'm winning than when I'm losing.

AI Akuma has infinite super combo gauge for some reason, since he can use that double aerial fireball without any super bar. Unnecessarily unfair and more annoying than challenging. I suggest just playing 100 online matches to unlock him, much easier that way.

The difficulty doesn´t matter. I unlocked Akuma with the "Beginner" difficulty.

Can I ask whether when one's is under attack (failed to guard), can he strike back white eating hits?

    if yes, how?

my Akuma kicking ryu with double round house and b4 i punch him he can SRK me back

If you're putting together a proper combo, then no, he cannot strike back.

If he's SRKing you, it means you're not comboing the doublekick->punch properly.

i think i failed in between the 2nd kick and punch
    cos the delay of recovery.

but different story if he uses SP button to counter me?

Doesn't matter if he uses the SP button or not -- if you're comboing properly, he's not able to counter.

SP is just a shortcut. It doesn't give him any other advantages.
