Well, I rememeber when I chose 'same skills', I had 3k+ BPs and the first opponent was a newcomer (all numbers in 0), so I don't think BPs are what the system use to classify skills. I don't really know...
got to play with heif and agree it is amazing use of head stomps. but again mirror matches show that to have costume packs would be really cool.
Just played a sagat, lost. Wasn't close. Rematched, and he switches to Sakura for the mirror match. Bodied him 3-0, he didn't take a single round. Just makes me realize how underpowered she is. Scrub Sagats dominate me. I need to work on some setups for Sakura - I feel like against better characters I need to have some tricks and baits to help me get in. Gonna watch more TFA Hornett videos now. Also, just got recruited to join some guys team for the next tournament. Told him I was spoken for.
I started choosing 'more skill' recently... My bps suck even more than before, but I'm actually having more fun.

Oh dang, I forgot how wonderful it is to do a successful meaty Kobokushi. I need to try out the Raigeki -> Cl. St. MK -> Jump -> Raigeki though. That'll be awesome.

Seems like my retirement of the game is near, and not because I want. I've been having a trouble when my screen doesn't respond and I have to lock/unlock my screen, which interrupts the connection. Maybe it's because the temperature difference between enviroment and device. I just played a Sagat a while ago. I won the first match, and in the second that crap happened to me again. I didn't want to disconnect (the match was good), and I could fix that problem by opening the multitask bar and then go back to the game. Yeah, cool solution, but still annoying. And if we don't forget my 30 minutes battery playing online is a pain to play with the constant battery pop-ups and the screen that doesn't respond... Ah, by the way... the Sagat player beat me in the second match, but quitted so the match didn't count. He said he knows me from here and said that I just let him win (which is wrong). I felt kinda bad for that. So if you're reading this, sorry for made you think I let you win, you deserved that +1 on your win record.
Are you optimal for playing? The right brightness / the right things disabled, etc? Also, what device are you using? I've been playing less and less because the one-dimensional play (in comparison to console) is really starting to get tedious. I'm really hoping for some new characters to spice things up a bit. A proper Adon would make me happy.
The only 'bad' stuff I have enabled is the push mail. About the brightness it's less than a half of the settings. And it's an iPod 4G. I think it's normal, since I used to play games who just sucked hard my battery (like N.O.V.A. 2 ... online) and Dungeon Hunter. I played A LOT. Seems like I might need a new device, but that won't happen soon. Maybe there will be just one more update with characters. After that I don't know... Maybe Capcom will release another version of the port (I hope not ¬¬).
I use a 4g as my main play device, too. The phone gets too many calls, the iPad is too big. iPod 4g is perfect TBH, I wouldn't mind AT ALL if they made another port and charged whatever. Heck, I got volt for 99cents. I'd pay $9.99 for another port if it had online play + new characters. At this point I'd be happy to spring for DLC customs and such, even with the inferior resolution on our mobile devices. Just give me more, though.
