Oh~ I shall try it out~ as I quite interested in Yun too~ Haha~ thanks to Hazure3~ after two rounds I realized I can't purely depend on it~ so gonna do more mix up~ seriously gonna get use to the weird control~ and when ever I wanna hold for SP~ I forget to do the pick up rock motion so u will see me happily juggle rock there~ LOL to that~ I think I'm first and only Zonk Knucke Cody at the moment in US server~ haha
Good games man. I appreciate the kind words but was really disappointed in my play. Im not sure what was off with me but I was flat-out missing buttons and other rookie mistakes. I do really like the spear and how it catches people off guard. I do try to mix it up upon landing but like you said, I was really leaning on throw too much last night. All in all I'm definitely feeling more comfortable with the new Dhalsim parameters but some nights are still ugly. Your Sakura is really coming along though. You've got her BnBs pretty much down pat. You caught me with them almost every time I made a mistake. I think it's just a matter of making it all instinctive and really knowing the matchups like you do with Sagat. That's the hardest part of learning a new character but once you do you'll be as good as any Sakura on Volt. Hope to run it back soon to see if I can do a little better.
After some quick testing in training mode, I have come to the conclusion that Cody's bingo punch/zonk knuckle is completely broken in this game. As far as I can tell, it's completely safe on block regardless of the distance. It comes out way too quick to punish on reaction, and has tons of invincibility. Oh, and it breaks armor too.
I used to (and only) ragequit someone who ragequits me first (it could be once, twice or >3 times. eg. Police Vietnam) and see if he can understand how it feel when being dropped. Apparently I was wrong, those ragequitters won't learn from that, so now I simply do disconnect before the match start. Since you are not coming to argue then I guess what I describe above make sense. No worries, you have slrc91 as your reference, I believe in him. I don't wanna change the things or whatever and don't wanna blame you (it's your choice, your playing style). As my previous post, your Bison is good and i just think you can do better than that. Welcome to TA forum.
It also has a very short range, a small hitbox, and is best used as a countermove. If zonk knuckle wasn't safe on block, Cody would almost always have a better option.
Touch Arcade Team Hey guys hello every one. Is the 'touch arcade' team at the sf4 volt network representing this site? Im looking for a team to joint and was just curious.
Me too I used to value my BPs for awhile...got up to 3700 and hated losing it. Even played a bunch of friendlies to avoid losses but realized that was stupid. I play care free now...much less stress and my BPs fluctuate wildly...i get to 2500 and then I make a run to 3300 then fall back down and then up etc, etc... The only good thing about BPs is that the level of the player can be easily gauged. I have two accounts and am consistently in the low 3000 for both accounts. I guess its a good way to measure relative skill
I agree, if you see someone with 2600+BP, they can't be THAT bad of a player... Then again, sometimes I play guys with <1k BP and they are REALLY good.
GGs HEIF-37~ But the lag is as if we are wearing 10kg weighted shoes moving~ T.T You have good planning in headstomp~ I gotta becareful about it next time round~ Look forwards to play again
I dont think is completely broken~ at least not for the normal one~ it got countered by Cammy's upper cut, Guile double sweep kick, and will all command grab owned the normal zonk~ T.T But I must say is very good to deal with projectile~
The problem I'm having, is that I rush in impatiently, but don't start attacking yet. After I rush in, I wait a second to see what my opponent will do, then I do a safe move like St. K. I've also been thinking of doing Hayate Feints, but I'm not sure how well those would work; have you tried them? I always thought that when playing Makoto, you should be on the offense most of the time, and when they least expect it, command grab them. I've also been trying to get into using more of her EX Overhead move because it seems to work really well. When I get in, with Karakusa for example, I go St. P, St. P, Cr. P, Hayate/EX Hayate, which nets some good damage. If I land a Focus Attack, I'll do Fukiage (one to build up meter), Fukiage, Tsurugi, EX Hayate. Yeah, a guide would be pretty useful; she's one heck of a character.
