Ummm, why? If you want to leave you can do it yourself, because if i kick you then you wont be able to rejoin, EVER!?!?!?!?!
Thanks. I'm already back in. (No name) Just need my profile to update now. Actually, I wasn't in control of the other profile anymore, so I couldn't leave.
Interesting. Guess I'll have to check it out in training. But what do you mean that it works for all crouching directions? Hits against all crouches? Thanks.
Happy New Year TA! Wish Capcom would just add the rest of the stages. They already have the music from the Crumbled Laboratory in, might as well put the still picture of the stage in the game too. I want the Korea stage...
he means if you press down-down forward or-down back it will come out. Are you sure you can combo off it j6u? Edit: You can. Its like cammys divekick. It doesnt matter how high you are, you just have to hit them around the knees or lower.
A character's tier isn't determined solely by how they were buffed/nerfed, but also how they perform relative to the rest of the cast. Ken went from being solidly mid tier in SF3 2nd Impact to top tier in 3rd Strike moreso because of how the rest of the cast around him changed rather than how HE changed (because he really DIDN'T change.) I'll explain more about Ryu below. This is how I see the first two tiers anyway. I don't know the rest of the characters well enough to be able to say really. Snooper, I know you'll disagree with my putting Ryu at number two but let me explain why I did. We can all agree that Sagat is tops, but Ryu does a lot of what Sagat does and has few if any drawbacks. Sure he got nerfs in damage but he still does pretty good damage in general and his FADC Ultra still does TONS of damage. Relative to the rest of the cast Ryu is still one of the most solid characters in the game. He's a great zoner but does quite a bit of damage up close, has one of the best FADC Ultras in the game, One of if not THE best SRK type moves in the game, and doesn't have the drawbacks that Akuma or Guile do. He's more mobile than Sagat but he's a more versatile character than Saggy is too. Akuma's offense nerfs hurt because he's a high risk character if the opponent knows what he's doing, which is why he gets played as a zoner so often. Though with the general nerfs he won't take as much damage as he did and it all kind of evens out. Guile can't do as much damage all at once so again, the nerfs to his damage really hurt. What would have take him 3/4 exchanges to accomplish now take 4/5/6. Plus the ability to punish in between the two kicks of his low Roundhouse hurts his ground game. If you're not going to zone with Guile then scoring knockdowns and mixing up on wakeup is a big part of his game. Being able to punish an already slow move hurts his viability, and the average SRK/Ultra mashed can do it readily. Viper and Bison didn't change drastically and both have been pretty solid characters from the get-go who have a few disadvantages, but nothing particularly debilitating, and both can do gobs of damage in a single exchange. Gief's SPD nerf hurts him pretty bad. Basically, zoning characters don't really get hurt too badly by damage nerfs because the damage they do is gradual anyway. But for characters who rely on baiting and punishing those nerfs hurt their viability because it takes longer for them to do what they could have done pretty quickly before (Gief in particular).
GG squall2002. Your Dhalsim is getting better. My execution with Sakura still isn't up to par, a lot of missed uppercuts. Although did you see that one in the first game where you were in front of me, teleported away, I threw the uppercut in anticipation of it, and Sakura uppercutted the opposite direction! WTF!
I think Blanka and Ken need to switch places. Blanka is a much more viable character IMO. You have Blanka players like -40, nullroar, and ivwshane who are consistently in the top 25, but no Ken players near the top of the list even though he is used much more than Blanka. I don't know, but I think that says a lot about the character when you compare them.
GG DROQQA, you have the best sakura, very soild defence, lucky she does not have a weapon could punish Dhalsim's teleport hard like some other characters. and yes that uppercut is totally wreck, lol.
But yeah ill check fffans table and edit my post. Edit: Akumas changes: less damage on uppercut, ex uppercut and ex red fireball.Uppercut has less invincibility like the other shotos and not you mentioned that his ultra has slower startup and less invincibility. I think its just cos im on my iphone, but i couldnt see guiles changes at all.
Ok, changed. Imo kens actually pretty good, he just gets branded as being bad because so many of the new/scrubby players use him. Ill switch him with blanka and leave him for now though.
Just hit training mode to figure out how to punish dhalsim's teleport since her uppercut can't. Finally figured it out. What I was doing before was either crouching p or crouching hp, but both moves have a strong likelihood of either whiffing or trading. It's a losing game for Sakura. What I want to be doing is focus attacking, but the timing is hard because if I do it too early, she faces the wrong direction. But it's a good technique because Sakura gets so low in her focus stance that dhalsim's jumping k whiffs. It also works against yoga spear and jumping p, but with those you have to release at just the right moment before Dhalsim follows up with crouching k.
POLICE, I know a lot of stuff is lost in translation, but who do you think tge best characters are? Im not being sarcastic, just wondering.
