Im still around for some more games if you want, just having lunch so Ill be ready in like 15 mins if you are. I missed soooooo many combos with him though, cr lk-upkicks, divekick-cr lk, genei jin combos, everything. Hes definitley a very scary character though.

Thats because all attacks cause more hit than block stun, like how ryus cr mk-fireball isnt always a blockstring. It never is on consoles but it is at some ranges in volt.

If you land a Cr. LK, I recommend that you go in for Target Combo 1 link. It helps you catch your bearings, and you can cancel out of the St. MP with Kobokushi, gaining some chip damage and meter (if you're lucky though, you'll hit them). I think that GJ Zesshou Hohou is a bit overlooked. I need to test to make sure, though.

Escaping pressure is always punishable because his ground teleport has a lot of recovery. Part of the problem that I have with him is that I'm not really capable of playing a full-on runaway style (except against Gief and Abel since there's no other option). I mean, I'm physically capable but just don't treat the game as a must-win-at-all-costs deal. I enjoy the fun of it. Many of my losses are because players just turtle against me and I bite. Bisons and Guiles just walk backwards and can easily punish any teleport regardless of front or back. Sagats just stand ready to block and wait for me to make a mistake. The list goes on and on. I need a way in and teleport was it. His jump is rubbish. His dash is mediocre. His slide isn't bad but has a lot of recovery. I don't know, maybe there's a middle ground, but his jump teleport gets punished by the weakest of players now and it seems to be overkill. I only have SFII to compare it to, but I just never remember teleports being so easy to teleport.

I'd love some matches but I'm about to eat and need to hang with the wife for a few. Maybe in 30-60?

What's the jumping-back-in-the-air analogue to turtling? kangarooing? the ppl that keep hold jump-back + kick.

These 5 mirror sets are beyond GGs! What a beauty! We put BP behind and fought with 100%. I enjoyed them very much.
I lost my focuse in sets 2 and 5 because I needed to eat dinner. I would have ground it out until the last second. I only saved sets 1, 2 and 4 but my favourite set was set 3. Did you save them all?

I am planning to upload whatever I have saved in awhile if you don't mind. These are great Dhalsim concept fight materials.

Yay. I narrowly beat a Gief while playing Bison. We both were at a tiny amount of health left, and he was Banishing Flatting all over. I get a lucky throw. He quits. Hooray.

Switched my language to Japanese and saw this right after the "Uploading..." screen. Anyone knows Japanese care to translate? I suspect it has something to do with the tournament in Japan, coz the trophy icon lights up with an exclamation mark.

Dude... Why do you want to teleport into turtle Guiles and Dictators or any turtle players?

STAY SOLID on the ground! DON'T forward jump and DON'T get teleport-happy!

Take a moment to think about this:
When Dhalsim has a life lead, what options do your opponents have to get in?

SF4V's Dhalsim has enough tools to keep opponents out IMO...

You can relief projectile pressure by:
    a.) throw Yoga Fire
b.) vertical jump over projectiles - dodge high Tiger Shots by crouching, slide under low Tiger Shots (but not very practical)
    c.) FA counter projectiles
d.) dodging with back teleport ONLY at the very end of the screen

    PS:
If you need to forward jump, get back on the ground with Yoga Spear.
Use Sim's forward dash only after FA juggles...

You can do it Jibba! You can do it!

I can speculate bits and pieces.
They're announcing the Team Ranking results for the week of 12/18-12/25.
Also noting that the Team Network Battle is getting exciting, as the first place team as won 2 weeks now.

    The rest I couldn't decypher.

    :(
