BP's are like a curse to me. People don't wanna play with me because of that crap. Well... Seems like Police's right: some people dislikes him. Respect is something that you earn, and the opposite too. I don't like him. Not because his manner or because he's not polite (some players are too polite, and in my opinion that's bad too), it's because he takes the fun out of the game making one of the worst things. Yup, quitting. And like YYOJJO said: there are more than 1 player who say the same. And seems like all players who had the luck (or unluck) to see how the dude just press the home button, all aren't part of TA... I used to respect him... But this happen when you take the gane too serious.
Those were nice matches FINIX00. I feel I was lucky in 2 matches (one against Ryu and one against Vega). Sorry for stop 'soon', my battery only last like 30 playing online and my device didn't have full charge. We will play more matches in another moment
The new update made me feel the same way regarding BPs. Everyone is so obsessed with them. It leads to significantly more rage quits and a lot more one and done matches. Yesterday I was extremely annoyed with the game because everytime I won a match, my opponent quit. If I lost the match, it was almost always very close and my opponent chose to leave rather than continue with a rematch. I find that almost nobody wants a rematch anymore unless they feel confident that they'll win. This BP effect, along with the significant changes to Dhalsim, really leave me disappointed with the update as a whole. I just don't get Capcom's decision making. Either way, at some point I have to figure out a way to properly adjust to the new Dhalsim. I've started to have a bit of success and am back to around 1500 BPs, but still a far cry from 2500 BPs. And I still can't stop playing this damn game.
I hear you buddy! Dhalsim in ver.1.03 isn't hopeless...Pace yourself, run away, lame it out in matches. Dhalsim isn't superior like he used to but is still a respectable character! Check out my replays and see if they are helpful to you.
It's fine, thanks for playing anyway GGs Mr.Guile, I cannot beat you at all. lol Your guile is the best I've ever played so far. Rush-down type players are absolutely deadly for Vega, but you beat my Ryu easily too so I wouldn't think it really mattered, you're too good. You are like so experienced that you know all possible moves I do next and are prepared. I'm looking forward to play you again! I got beaten badly today, by squall2002 and slrc91. fffan or cyrus, would you like to finish this off and send me to heaven? lol jk
Yeah, I think I've been too stubborn and too focused on the TPs/BPs for my own good. I've really wanted to keep bringing in the TPs for Team TA so I haven't focused on working in new techniques in friendly matches like I really should be doing. I just keep sticking with my old game plan even though I know it's not good enough anymore. After an insanely annoying day yesterday, I finally broke down and started with some friendlies to teach myself how to better work in focuses, knees, standing kicks, blasts, etc. I also really have to build my muscle memory on the teleport -> jump kick -> crouch kick -> flame. I can always do it in training but rarely get it to work in online, partially due to lag but also partially due to less than perfect conditions (unlike training mode). That's where I really miss my simple teleport -> jump punch -> standing/crouching punch. I DL'd a couple of your replays awhile back but it sounds like you've started uploading a lot more so I'll take a look. Thanks.
His teleport is sooooooo much easier to punish. Before, there was a height where if dhalism teleported behind you and kicked, there was no way to punish, or at least the window to punish was impossibly narrow. Now teleport behind is easy to punish, regardless of height. It's only use now is to teleport behind as the opponent is throwing a move out that has some recovery time. Jibba, Yeah, the top Dhalsims (especially KenKen) got that jumping kick, low kick, yoga flame down pat. It's a true block string, unlike jumping punch, crouching/standing punch.
Did everyone get this? This is the official MLiG group. In short, it's a big tournament league for multiplayer iOS games. You get three points for every win, one point for a tie, and a negative point for a loss (note that in a tiebreaker, losses will not be counted). There will be several different divisions set up, between racers, shooters, cards, and more. If you wish to suggest a game for the division, just message me or reply in the thread. Each division will have multiple winners, but combined will be the winner for that division. Match set-ups and registration for each game will be done in this group (so you can register for games you have and want to play). Best of luck to all competitors. Standings will be set up in the margins here. Also at the end of each match, please do take a screen shot, it could save a lot of problems later... And here are the games! If you have any suggestions just tell me and I'll likely add them in!
Dhalsims standing punch, jumping punch, super and yoga flame all do less damage as well. I can understand the teleport nerfs, that thing was pretty ridiculous without the ability to option select, but its not like dhalsim was a high damage character.
and also, the hit boxes on his long limbs (jump fierce and stand fierce) have gotten bigger and are very much punishable if missed. The start-up and recovery times for stand fierce are noticeably slower... Players can jump in your missed stand fierce easily! So poke with caution! I've had a few moments when players SRK my jump fierce, just like on AE...
Interesting. I'm not sure that I'd be able to do this, what with resetting Volt and my BN not changing.
the top vs I want to watch Haven't check the replay channel yet. But these are top matches I want to watch: slrc_91 vs Police NYC-Chinatown vs slrc_91 TenOnez vs Police specially the first one.
