Low tier?! Low tier?! You get beat by characters and you still call them low tier? I know for one DeeJay is definitely not a low tier character. He can hop trough fireballs quickly with his knee move. His fireball is slow and allows it to be used as a shield. His sobat kicks are completely safe on block if the second kick hits and can be used as a mix-up character. He also has the fastest sweep in the game. (total frames) So you'll be constantly barraging the oppoemet with punches, kicks and sweeps. His ex moves are top notch and his exachine gun punches launch you and can be followed up with the anti air kciks or an ex move or even an ultra. He is very versatile because he can play pressure-mixup but can also play zoning. He is definitely not a low tier character. Second, Cody is much better than you think. He actually has a lot of safe moves to choose from and you can continuously pelt the opponent with his projectile considering he can also charge them. The only thing I hate about him is that it's hard to charge his zonk knuckle while performing other things (same with balrog) and his zonk knuckle overlaps with his projectile. I think the only low tier characters in this game is Abel (hard to use but is one of the best mixup characters), Sakura (No good reversal without meter and can't do a lot of her mixups after ex tatsu.) and Dhalsim after his unecessary damage nerfs. (As if he did a lot of damage even before the nerfs.). All in all I think all the characters are balanced well and everything can be countered or has a glaring weakness that makes everything fair.
My assumption is right... you just started Makoto... You had a few flashy moments... (dash>grab>hit>super>ultra). Work on your Bread and Butter combos... You also have to read and anticipate my teleport better. I have gotten beaten by good Makoto repeatedly before the Sim nerfs. Merry Christmas to you too! off to church now!

Yes I DO! Bruce Lee can easily put Sim in the corner, plus frame trap, Sim is over... I played a very good Fei. I was so mad and didn't save his replay... My opinion doesn't help eh? haha
Hey bud! Out of all the encounters I had with you on Ranked... I have only beaten you ONCE... Since then I have been avoiding playing Ranked with you! You play a very good Viper... Sim can never win a Viper at your level on SSF4V. Merry Christmas!
No, your opinion is very helpful! I was wondering if it was because I have a good Fei (I don't - just ask Snooper, who absolutely demolished me Fei v Fei. And Blanka v. Cammy. And pretty much whatever v. him ). I guess Dhalsim is just bad against Fei, though, once Fei gets in. Missing a lot of his light pokes from console version really hurts his ability to keep Fei out in volt. BTW, any advice for my Blanka v. Dhalsim game? Whenever I play Dhalsim, I always feel like it's the most random of all my match ups...I basically win or lose dependent on random jumping and electricity. And furthermore, has anyone really truly confirmed that you can no longer point-blank catastrophe into lvl 3 focus? Cause i'm pretty sure it just happened to me...?

Dee jay is ok, but hes in the bottom third of the cast tier wise. He does bad damage, his sobat kicks arent safe against most characters, his crossup/knee mixup doesnt matter with auto block, his anti air is awful, cant fadc his reversa, very hard to combo into ex machine gun upper with lag. He's just bad. Cody is also crap, imo worst character in the game. Horrible walkspeed, bad pokes, bad reversals, ok damage (he does massive damage on consoles). Hes just missing all his good stuff from consoles. Dhalsim can still play good keepaway, he was top tier now hes mid. Abel is low. He has no good pokes and a tough time getting out of pressur, but hes better than cody with his sick mixups. Sakura is also pretty low.
