By the way @Finix When you land a Focus Attack with a Makoto, and you are intending to do the Fukiage, jump, Tsurugi, EX Hayate combo, do a Fukiage right after you dash forward, then another one. The second will hit. The first one is just meant to gain meter. It's pretty useful.

I remember lots of those FA and launching kicks connecting but no follow throughs. Was the charge not ready? As for using more teleports, it's really tough doing anything after that especially when people play their A game. Usually, they end up throwing me. The risk is much higher than the reward, so I tend to use it sporadically. The one I use the most is to harass by teleporting near and teleporting far away again. Another reason I don't use it more often than what I already do is I feel like I'm trolling the person I'm fighting against and it's like slapping them in the face. Hahahaha. I'm going to second this! There has been so many times when I wanted to do a flashy finish and I go to press my charged ultra only to have it do nothing which leaves me standing unblocked for a micro second and I get punished! Or, even more frustrating is when a player its constantly attacking me (sagat its the worst), and I try my ultra multiple times in between their moves and frames and nothing happens and I get chiped to death!
