I noticed that, I think it probably had to discount draws. That seems to be the case for every character. edit: wow bizarre, akuma v akuma is like 48% .. I think I saw that the characters with the most match-ups above 50% were sagat (11), honda (13), zangief (12), blanka (10),
i'm hoping it'll be similar to the weekly team rankings, and you'll get some sort of trophy or distinction. Getting new belts seems to be based on winning matches and accumulating TP, as far as I can tell.
System seems highly vulnerable. Just get two devices (or a friend who has one) and jailbreak / bp hack one. Then find the other guy in rated (DC against anyone who isn't him and you don't lose points if you do it at the opponent reveal, I was told), and proceed to lose all those points to him over and over. In no time you have a guy who got the points "legitimately" (technically, intentionally meeting/beating the same bp hacker over and over isn't cheating on your end and can't be distinguished as such from simply finding a hacker randomly and winning) at the top of the charts from that simple feat. Seems rather strange. I'm hoping to see legitimate tournaments with brackets. We'll see what they have up their sleeves. Hopefully Adon. BTW I've never seen so many good players before the update. It really looks like this update brought everyone out of the woodwork. That or the nerfs to Blanka have wrecked me beyond reason : (
Actually that's quite true. Find 2 devices and use one as a "dummy" so that the other device can win points, but I guess Capcom should detect that quite easily with the 2 of them playing non-stop. Talking about that, I have an iPad 2 as well...

Now capcom is releasing Android version and I think that soon we will have an update with more characters and scenarios!
So I was playing online this morning with Sakura against a fei long that liked to spam chicken wing. So I try to focus attack the third hit, and it breaks my focus. Try again, same thing. I go into training mode after the match, and only the first hit breaks focus. Anyone have this happen to them before?
Ugh, I really want to get good with Sakura, but the link after her tatsu is just so small. Playing a vega, I hit him with jumping p, heavy cr. p, ex tatsu, jumping p - reset - cr. k, cr. k, which stuns him. Im out of meter at this point, so i try for LVL 3 focus, cr. heavy p, tatsu, standing p, uppercut, ultra. But I miss the freaking link into standing p, and of course he is mashing ultra and wins. So lame.
Nope, just was at 3/4 screen waddling back an forth. First two hits whiffed, third hit hit me and broke my focus.
It's the same with akuma's double-roundhouse > standing P link. Such a small window for a link, it's reasonably tricky without lag -- with lag, really undependable. I'm just going back to standing P > shouken with her. Have you noticed her cross-up jump K has much smaller effective frames + a smaller hitbox ? It used to be ken-cross-up-good, now it's closer to akuma-cross-up-bad.
Same to you Felix. I didn't realize Sakura had skills like that. Did you pick her specifically for the matchup with Balrog? Don't know that matchup at all. Do you think it favors her? I feel like Dhalsim still has an advantage over her but I've got to be very careful. I don't think we're GC friends. If not, I'll add you so we can do friendliest sometime. Just don't expect too much from my Dhalsim these days.

I find the matchup against Balrog easier with Sakura. I dunno why. I sort of got lucky with all those successful Tatsu, St. P links. I think it might sort of favor her in a way, but not by much. She can easily avoid his anti-air by suddenly changing to airborne tatsu, her focus attack has good range, so that helps especially against dash punches, and she can get big damage off of a hit confirm/jump punch. But yeah. I think that Dhalsim has an advantage over Sakura. Thanks, I'll accept. And I don't really know the Dhalsim matchup too much, so it'll at least be fun!
Yeah, Sakura's solid focus attack always really forces me be a lot more careful with his dashes, even EX dashes. I think I could've adjusted a bit with a few matches, but I generally don't like to work out matchups in ranked, especially against another TA'er. Sakura can do ok against Dhalsim, but I don't remember losing too many of those matchups. That said, it's not like there are a ton of really good Sakuras out there. But for that matchup, I think focusing on working in her EX combos is huge. Dhalsim is tough to catch sometimes (less so since the update) but once you do, if you take full advantage you stand a very good chance at taking down the match. Also, I don't know her corner skills, but that's obviously another area to focus on against Dhalsim.
I secretly hate you squall2002. Good games though. I laughed pretty hard when you accidentally ultra'ed from full screen (Im assuming a high ex tiger shot gone awry) and I think "I finally get to punish with ultra", and then my low tiger shot knocks you out of the ultra.
