Quickie Question from a guy who hasn't played SF... Is this good even if you probably aren't a big fan of these types of games?
Okay the akuma files are inside the game but akuma is not available atm , so probably in updates I guess . Online is good but just a little bit laggy , whipping out precise combos is rather hard what with the somewhat irresponsive controls for online .
Good to know! I for one look forward to Akuma possibly popping up! Anyone figure out what content unlocks if you have the original iOS version installed?
As everyone guessed, it doesn't have Retina support Where did you found this reference? I saw files in the format: gki***.*** But, that could also refer to Geki...
Shame. I thought Capcom was Japanese? Sega was showing off Japan pride with Sonic Racing too if I heard right?
I didn't like fighters at all until I bought SFIV when it was on sale for 99 cents a while back, and I really liked it. In fact I ended up then buying the Xbox 360 version... and really not liking that. The console version isn't much fun at all, unless you're hardcore into endlessly practicing in order to pull off moves. The iPhone version is fun because it skips that (what to me is) nonsense.
I think it's this , I don't remember seeing this in original sfiv Do a search for mp4 files in the directory and you will discover short special animated videos of each character . The mp4 file with gki tag clearly shows akuma.
Such a shame that it doesn't have retina support. I mean, I'll get it because it's cheap, but if it were launching at full price, as much as I love SFIV on my iPhone, I feel like retina support is a must at this point.
Hahaha No I'm not really young. I'm actually married. It's just that I am somewhat new to iOS gaming and have never played or even payed attention to street fighter until today when I saw a new one was coming out.
Any more news as to what the "special bonus" is when you own both games? Also, any plans to release a universal after launch?
I want to ask something about the special update of SF IV days back. If I purchased it originally at other store account, and I plan to buy the latest 1 in US account, will the special content be unlocked?

Meh, can still play the standard SFIV without issue at least. Besides which, all of the cool 2G folk will be 5G folk later this year.
If you were ever at an arcade during your childhood, or at the mall/movie theatre etc., and you saw a cluster of punky-looking kids gathered around one particular machine. It was this game, or previous iterations of this game. Personally, I'm kind of wondering what happened to Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I'm pretty sure that was supposed to come out on iOS.
