I'd pay $5 extra for alternate Ultras, and I'd pay 10$ for a special costume set ranging across all the characters. They've been giving us free characters, so I don't want to pay for those. Unless they're $0.99. I guess I have been spoiled by the low prices on the App Store... still, I want them to add Ibuki. Adon looks fun too, but I don't know how his options would work out.
I just ran into one for the first time, I'd say we are the better "clan". Once I figured out his habits it was no problem. I wasen't gonna play any ranked matches till I could get on the team but I'm an impatient person so I had to play a few to earn some of my lost BP back from the delete and re install. Forward + SP for rising jaguar, backwards SP for jaguar kick (just plain SP in the air for air-jaguar kick, like viper has for flame kick), and down SP for jaguar tooth Then just give me his 3 frame jabs and his nice 2-hit roundhouse (Sagat style) and Ultra 2 and I can get my screaming jaguar stuff on.
I was looking at some Gamerbee matches and Adon really seems to have a good cross-up kick. Dang, it's cross-up kicks like those that make me wish that Auto-block didn't exist. It doesn't seem like Cody's speed was improved in Volt. I was just thinking that it might be, seeing as Ryu got his AE 2012 Hadoken buff.
Adon's cross up kick is disgustingly good and his reversal timing and auto correct on his rising jaguars are so hard to get used to. My friend mains him in AE and it took me awhile to really get a good grasp on that match up because he's so versatile.
I believe Slick_Macky to be the alter ego of Dr. Macky. If I'm correct, then you have no reason to apologize.
Can't find him, is that the exact way to spell his name? I found out that you have to spell their name exactly how you see it. If there's a capital in the name, you have to include it. Try it out with my GC user name, do a search for psxsquall and you'll find my replays; if you do a search for Psxsquall, there will be nothing. Agreed. There's a huge gap between their skills. He's an outlier in the group. That's what you get for your friend to have such a similar name to you. What? Macky giving you trouble Ken|Ken? He has a good Ryu, but I would think your Dhalsim could top him. Maybe the nerf affected the outcome of the match. As I stated before, Ryu has not received any Hadouken buff in this version. Most of the updates on him were nerfs, the only buff was +8 on his Lv1 Ultra.
I never rage quit, but I did it two or three times last night This update made some minor changes that keeps making me lose games to guys who really aren't good because my timing is all wrong... or something. It was really getting to me. I'm starting a new profile right now to hide my shame
And CAPCOM did whatever they wanted. I'm glad with their decision. Not even rent-a-cop police Vietnam's law can do anything about it.
I've never been so salty in my entire life. There is literally nothing Blanka can do against a Ryu who just crouches and waits to SRK. All my balls are punishable, my jump-ins are vulnerable...I can hop forward and pray for a grab, but that's pushing it. It's an unwinnable scenario, and it seems that every Ryu knows it. Interesting factoid: Ryu's SRK no longer has invincibility on the first few frames. Yeah, I know. I was doing a Ryu mirror (because Blanka is terrible now and no fun when I lose to enemies with slivers of life left, or I sweep instead of crouching kick....$&#*) I used Ryu's ultra on the other guy after a knockdown so it would hit on his wakeup frames - each time, he SRKed on wakeup. Each time, it STILL hit him. Anyhow, his name is Namchack if you guys want to play a solid Ryu. I tried using Sagat / Guile etc. and he took me pretty handily in the set. SALT.
