Lol im sure people complained about it to capcom. The things that people would complain about were nerfed, ie. hondas headbutts, chun li and guiles sweep, zangiefs spd, and apparently deejay needed to be nerfed too. Im surpirsed akuma wasnt nerfed harder, ive received quite a few 'akuma is cheap' hate messages and i hardly use him.
People keep complaining that the TA team has no space. Nobody has joined this team yet. I can't make this any more clear: Info is in my sig. I'm going to start temp banning people until they join the team.
Well another space is going to open pretty soon. I can see this happening alot in the future, 500 people all sitting at home with their iphones, refreshing the page, waiting for a new space.
Tried taking Honda for a spin. The headbutt nerf is pretty huge-- he's very open on block (block, ultra is very viable for most characters) so there is a lot of pressure not to headbutt unless you can read the opponent's mind. However if you're playing with SP assist on, Honda becomes a terror on knockdown. Sumo smash/sumo throw loops without having to see Honda stand up (charge db, then S for the smash or qcf+S for the sumo throw) is crazy hard to read.
Yeah that mixup is basically the same as the lariat/spd mixup. Hondas ok, but nowhere near as good as before.
I wiped my profile clean and started from scraps again. I'm going to focus more on ranked matches for the time being. Managed to climb from 0 to ~2800 bp tonight. My goal is to be able to hit 4000 bps this weekend. There are some really tough players out there though! This is awesome.
Hmmm, my current record is 34-3, but i have 40tp. My only guess is it counted ragequits, which would be cool
Surprisingly, I did not run into too many ragequitters. I spent about an hour on 1 guy that pretty much whooped me. In the end, we pretty much broke even in terms of BPs, but he gave me like 13 loses. LOL
