OK, just was toying around in training mode and figured out that there is a gap between Abel's first and second hit in his change of direction and the first hit is unsafe on block. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS
I keep meaning to get into the training room to practice blocking/punishing his change of direction and his wheel kick. Now I'm even more intrigued. It must be a tiny window. I always assumed it was no different than Fei's rekkas.
Good games FINIX00, I've fought very few people who use focusing as offensively as me, now I see how frustrated people probably get playing me and I also see how not prepared for my own strategy I am. I love the Vega match up man, if it could have went my way I would played only that match up you have a solid Vega and you really knew how to mix it up with him. My work break was over otherwise I would have definitely kept playing.
Good games indeed, I really enjoyed playing against your Fei Long iVoloster. Yours is deferent from the other Feis, which was very exciting. I know one more player who uses focus as much as we do - The Xion. He is good. Good on many characters, especially Bison. You might want to check him out! Thank you for the compliments, I think it taught me a good lesson of how long Fei's focus is to be honest. Freaking long. Lol Anyway, I will look forward to next time! Peace

On another note, I love when some projectile spammer stands full screen away chucking fireballs and then gets frustrated with me for standing on the opposite side of the screen jumping straight up over them. Lol two can play the lame game! >;-)
Agreed. I also enjoy when people turtle and then get pissed when I bombard them with fireballs. I was playing ranked matches yesterday and played an ultra turtle Guile named clavskocore. My Dhalsim couldn't get in on him so I stood a half screen distance away and shot fireball after fireball, with the occasional jump-teleport attack. I'm not sure if he expected me to walk into a flash kick to the face or what. He did take the loss like a man and then declined a rematch. I ran into him a second time right after and this time he played Balrog (he did much better than he did with Guile). When I beat him, he rage quit and sent me a nasty GC friend request calling me a spammer and a bunch of things I won't repeat. I googled his name just now for the hell of it and what do you know . . . clavskocore.
Everybody has at some point (at least for those that were around when there was no penalty involved). I haven't in a long, long time (and probably only ~4-5 times total), but sh*t does happen sometimes. This morning I was trying to get one match in before getting ready for work. My iPhone was at less than 10% but I thought I had enough juice to get through a quick match. I was wiping the floor with a 1100 BP Cammy when my phone died. Strangely, I got a ranked drop but don't think I lost any BP. Tonight will be dedicated to wiping that ranked drop off my record. The whole ranked drop system is screwy anyways. I've seen a player with a 0-0 record but 1 or 2 ranked drops. I thought the system was supposed to give the quitter a drop in BP as well as a loss? Oh well. It seems to work well enough so that rage quitting isn't that prevalent in ranked matches.

You don't get a loss, and you don't lose BP if you only do it once or twice. I tested it out a while ago and it took like 4 or 5 quits in a row before I lost any BP at all.

I hope it's the one where you trapped me in the corner with Vega and read me like a book, those were some awesome mind games. I kept saying I was gonna save them but then I would wanna get right back into the next match and forget.
